This is probably the only place I will ever go to get my hair dyed. One, it is VERY inexpensive. A full color hair dye is 29 bucks, (10 extra if you got a lot of hair like myself). But that is very inexpensive compared to most places. Not only that, but it is being dyed by strictly trained students who definitely know what they are doing. Their trainer comes around and checks the hair after every step and makes sure it is perfect before moving on. I definitely trust them with my hair because they seem to have a good education program going on. Every time I left here with my hair dyed I was extremely pleased with the outcome.

I sat in the chair for two hours to get a haircut. I repeat, a haircut, a men's haircut. They only cut an inch off of my hair. In addition, I still have to go and get my hair fixed by another salon because the stylist obviously didn't know how to cut curly hair, and even though I am aware of the issues with my curly hair, the first instructor proceed to ignore what I wanted. And only one out of the four, yes FOUR, different instructors who checked the student's work seemed to really know how to work with curly hair. This same instructor was the only one who asked me if I liked my hair, which I didn't, or even asked how my day was. wouldn't recommend this salon and plan on never coming back to this salon either.

Horrible experience. The front desk girls were very snooty and impersonal. Really didnt make me feel more then an inconvenience. I couldn't understand this as I camecame right from work in professional dress. My stylist was on time and friendly. She discussed my options and what was possible with my color. I wanted the bayalage highlights. I was happy until the final result. SHE chose the color to tone my highlights, which looked orange/yellow to me but i thought maybe it wasthe store lighting, since we looked at several pictures and orange was nowhere close to the brown we chose.
I tried to get used to it over the next 2 days and just could not, it looked awful. I contacted the salon to see if it could be retoned. Something that happens. The process involved me coming in flr a consultation and then making yet another appointment to have it fixed. Plus there was to be an additional cost. I had already soent $175. I asked for what the additional charge would be but noone could tell me. I asked to speak to a manager but none were available. I ended up just going to Sally and fixing it myself for $8 and 30 minutes.

When I began to get ready to leave for mt vacation this morning , FIVE days after my color, I noticed that my roots are already fading back to grey. Im guessing a demi color was used as opposed to a permanent that is used on grey. So now I am going to have to figure out how to cover them in Mexico. I cant even imagine what this will cost at the hotel salon.

Additionally I purchased a recommended product by my stylist, Callie, to cover my grey roots in between coloring. It was very very pricy but she assured me I could return the product if I didnt ike it. Once home I read the bottle and it was actually a dry shampoo, something that I never use and would not have purchased. I attempted to return the product and had to deal with the same snooty desk clerks and I was told I could only exchange the product. I was not happy with this as it was not at all what I was told. I was then offered a gift card. I asked severall more times to speak with a manager, however there never appears to be a manager there.

All in all horrible experince! Iwas treated rudly, several times. Received misinformation. Didnt receive what we discussed and they made it difficult to even get it fixed. And now 5 days later my root color is already faded out and I have to spend more money, not to mention time out of my vaction, to get it fixed. And there is never anyone that can maybe help resolve these issues available.

Save yourself the grief and extra expenses and go elsewhere!!

Good prices, great deals, excellent services. Can take a while, but keep in mind it is students learning, but honestly the price and deals make up for the extra half hour to get your hair done.

What a great experience! EFA is now my official go-to for haircuts.

I had been growing out an inverted bob for a number of months and wanted to have it evened out.

Nicole was very nice, communicated well, and gave me the best hair cut I've had in years! The rest of the staff as well were very professional and went above and beyond.

I highly recommend Eric Fisher Academy to you!
