Great service, in and out fast, professional and courteous. But....... why do they even have cars in their fleet that don’t have cruise control?
I didn’t even think to check for it, so I figured it out too late. That was a huge inconvenience for my 540 mile weekend road trip.
Great experience. Enterprise always takes care of me. Ryan is the best! Always polite, courteous and willing to go the extra mile to get things done.
Great experience, very helpful and friendly staff. In and out fast service. I called to let them know we found a broken recline handle in the rear seats just to inform them. They called back within an hour to swap cars to a vehicle I viewed as an upgrade.
I rented a car from Enterprise on Odana Rd on two different occasions while I had my car fixed following an accident. The cars were new, in good shape, clean and the rental process was very easy. I used shuttle service, the driver was courteous and careful. It went well.
The reason why I am not happy and rated my overall experience poorly is for 3 reasons. One cost me money, another time and inconvenience, the third cost me nothing but should be a warning to others to pay attention to the numbers.
1. Upon picking up the car (both times) I was asked the standard question about purchasing an insurance/damage waiver. I declined and stated both times that the credit card I am using to pay for the rental already provides the coverage. I also said that it is an insurance claim and although I was not at fault and I will be reimbursed for the rental, I am not sure what it will cover and what not. The first time, man who assisted me with paperwork accepted my answer without any further questions. The second time a young woman responded to it with "well, let me tell you about that "coverage" that credit cards "provide", and she went on to tell me how purchasing at least a damage waiver is going to protect me and how she recommends it, especially with (quote) "all this ice coming up", and she sees all those people renting cars and getting into accidents, but having that extra insurance will cover any damage to the car. I was running late for a medical appointment, I was frazzled, and since last accident more nervous, so caved in, although I shouldn't have and that was my mistake - I take full responsibility for it. Later I checked the weather and there was no inclement weather in a forecast. As it turned out, that purchase of damage waiver was also not included in reimbursement as it is deemed optional, which is what I was afraid of. I don't expect Enterprise agent to know that, but I expect that they will listen to clients' concerns and not try to up sell anything using lies, and scare tactics. It cost me $90.
2. After dropping off rental car the second time (at Abra Auto Body&Glass) I called Enterprise office shortly after, and asked to have copies of receipts for both rentals emailed to me so I can forward them to insurance company for reimbursement. The man I talked to, said they will do it as soon as they get the car and paperwork completed. I never received any email. I happened to be near by another day, so I stopped at the office, asked for the copies, which were then promptly printed.
3. Upon reviewing the copies I received from Enterprise, I caught a gross error in both summaries. First rental says "miles driven - 199" The second one 130!! First time I picked rental in the morning, drove 3 miles to work on N. High Point Rd, and back home from work 5,5 miles on the same day. The next morning, I drove another 5,5 miles from home to work and dropped the car off after work putting additional 3 miles on it. That comes up to 17 miles total, not 199! The second time, I picked up the car, drove 5.5 miles that day, another 11 the next day, another 11 miles one more time, before driving 8,5 miles on the day I returned the vehicle. Again, I drove 36 miles and not 130 as the copy of the receipt says. I did not have mile limit (and I don't know if this still practiced with any rentals) but beware that if that's the case this location might scam you.
We are always impressed with the Odana Road Enterprise Office Staff. They are courteous and very accommodating. We highly recommend this Enterprise Branch. They give us personal service and we appreciate it!
Overall experience was good and professional. Giving 4 stars because I was a first-time car renter and did not know that I needed to either have my own auto insurance policy or purchase insurance (fee/day) from Enterprise in order to rent. I was totally surprised by the (substantial) increase in cost when I went to pick up the car. Ideally there would be some sort of question or notification about this factor during the online reservation process.
The Enterprise website is easy to navigate, the staff is friendly and efficient and this location has a terrific selection of clean, well-maintained vehicles to chose from, what more could you ask in a car rental experience? A free upgrade, and that's what and that's what I received during my most recent rental. I will not hesitate to rent again from this location.
I have always been extremely pleased with the professionalism and customer service at this Enterprise location. Great rates, great customer service, always a pleasure to do business here!
The rental agent was great. But we really were not happy with the vehicle. We rented a Nissan Versa and it was not a good car. I understand that you get what you pay for, but this car was a dog. I'll know next time to spend a few more bucks.
Got a free upgrade to a car with only 5000 mile and enjoyed the drive very much!
May 10, 2016. This was by far the most friendly and competent car rental office staff we have had the pleasure of meeting. We had some unusual requests re: dates of availability and return. In addition the office was swamped with requests from nationwide conference participants, arriving, leaving and needing many vehicles. This was tough competition for us! Just when we thought nothing was going to meet our needs, the office manager and staff cleaned a ready car and we were off! Everyone was courteous, smiling and seemed to really enjoy helping us. Thank you! We are Emerald Aisle members and have never had such welcome attention.
Very nice and personable staff. Easy process for retrieving and dropping off car.
Whenever I need a pickup truck for weekend work, this place works great. Always pleasant staff to work with, and I have gotten some pretty amazingly nice pickups at reasonable prices. Enterprise saves me big money as I do not have to buy a truck. I just rent one from them. Very nice set up.
It is great to rent a car from them. I recently just move to Madison from Dallas by myself. After renting a car from west Madison, I drove my car to a dealer in east Madison to buy a car. After getting my new car, I asked them to pick up the car. Everything is so convenient. I recommend the service of their company.
