Our food was a bit lukewarm when it came out, but it was still good. They had a good assortment of tapas options and the drinks were tasty.
Nice local tapas/bar. Nice staff. Our foursome was seated quickly Monday with one side of restaurant set up to accommodate 30 at one long table. The chef must have focused on this big group. Our choices seemed to be leftover, frozen, microwaved main items with heavy sauces. She crab great. Teriyaki beef tender but, heavy - too strong sauce, pitiful spicy Thai shrimps. 3 oysters of trio good with barely warm Florentine type sauce. Other styles dried out. Stuffed mushrooms OK. Unusual style key lime pie. I will choose another restaurant next visit to Beaufort.
Was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn't be any happier. The meals prepared fantastically the host and server were polite and friendly and it was a great enviornment for a quiet dinner. Will definitely recommend to anyone i know. Top notch
I have stopped here about.4 times. First 2 times were very good. Last 2, not good at all.
Small bar and restaurant down town the food and service was excellent. Especially the award winning she crab soup. They should sell it by the vat (smile).
This place is usually not that packed with people and if you can't find a nice sit down restaurant to get dinner because of the large crowds try Emily's. The tapas and entrees are really good and the drinks are reasonably priced. The ambiance of the restaurant seems a little outdated which can be a turn off. There aren't a lot of younger people that dine here.
Great place with one of the broadest menus you will find anywhere in town! From escargot and quail to filet and lobster, if you can't find something to enjoy, it's only on you. One of the few places anywhere that you can order beef tartar and trust the quality (one of my personal favorites)! Check them out for tapas and drinks or a full dinner.
What can I say? I was one of the very first customers. I love Scott, Edward, and London. I am on a low sodium diet and the food was excellent. We were celebrating Daddy's 94 the birthday. What a wonderful night!!!!
I have never been more disappointed in the food or service. As a local of Beaufort for over 10 years Emily's has always my favorite until my last experience. The food was amazing until i took a bite and pulled a long strand of hair out of my mouth. Disgusted after this and upset, I politely informed the waitress without causing a big scene so everyone else in the restaurant would not hear. Upon telling the waitress and showing her the hair she said, "let me go see what we will do about that." She came back and said, "The general manager wants to see proof of the hair." By this point, it was gone and in the floor. Not one time did the general manager come out and speak to me or try and make any compensation. The waitress however did offer free dessert on her. I declined the dessert. This is not the restaurant I have loved for many years. Emily's has lost a very valuable local customer.
Delicious, excellent service and price friendly.
Easy enough seating and bouncy waitress. She-crab soup, wild boar sausage, fried oysters, lamb chops, tuna tartare, shrimp with peaches - we call these small plates not tapas btw :-).
That was really alot of food for two people but we enjoyed it all - top favorite the spiced shrimp and peaches.
Football was on and it was fun to hear the local cheers and celebrations.
Emily's is one of my favorite restaurants downtown. Delicious tapas and a huge menu, great specials. There is something for everyone. Also great staff and service each time.
Came two nights in a row as the food was so good. Shrimp and grits are a must. So goodam going to miss this when I go back to Australia. Thanks for a wonderful experience 😀😀😀
