We would not recommend staying at this resort. Although the amenities such as the pool, beach access and restaurant were great, the hotel room was horrible. The floors were dirty, the shower was either freezing cold or burning hot and the temperature in the shower would constantly change without touching the handle. The toilet continuously ran unless you jiggled the button after each use. The worst part was that the air conditioning would either completely shut off every two hours or would randomly shoot out hot air, making our room into a sauna every two hours waking us up multiple times throughout the night. Spend your money elsewhere.

We had a wonderful time here last week! The room was great, yes a bit dated and some 'normal' tropical issues but the beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The patio off our room was huge!

Stayed in July of this year (2017) and had a wonderful stay.
Close to airport, do see and hear planes during the day but it stops at night and didn't bother us. Beautiful setting and beach with calm clear waters. Nice facility with the bar and restraunt and friendly staff. Would stay here again as was very nice. We rented a car and drove and spent a lot of time exploring the entire island. food prices a little high but in line with other places on the island. We were staying at the hotel next door. Arrived late around 9pm that night. Couldn't get food at our hotel. So went next door to the Emerald Resort. Their restaurant was closing but we told the waiter we just landed and seriously needed food as we had been traveling since 4am. He begged the bartender to stay open late for us. We got a delicious meal and excellent drinks. The best customer service I've ever had. Next time I'll book at the Emerald resort.

This resort is at a walkable distance from st Thomas airport. Our beach facing rooms had excellent views. There are plenty of beach chairs to lay and watch the stars at night. Restaurant offers a carribean buffet and continental breakfast. There are yoga classes offered at the beach and you might see the restaurant staff spear fishing in the morning. Overall has a pleasant stay here. Taking off a star for room service.
