The property is beautiful. The tasting room building is great with lots of character and decent amount of seating. We ate at picnic tables outside since the weather was perfect. The pizzas were wonderful but it took a long time for all our group to get theirs. Found out from a pizza wagon owner that pizza oven should be 700 degrees, then a pizza would only take 5 minutes to cook, instead of the 15 minutes at Elkin creek.
I did the wine tasting and liked most of them.
There are picnic tables down by the creek and nice creek access near the old mill. Found out that they allow people to play down by the creek, swim at your in risk. It looks very inviting. Bring your own chairs if hanging out at the creek.

Recently returned to hang out at the creek. It was cool and refreshing, but water level was too low for tubing or swimming

Awesome pizza (Sunday's only), artisan breads, beautiful grounds, cabins and tasting room but the wines are just not good. The staff is very knowledgeable about the grape varietals and their history but they really need to hire a winemaker.

The grounds are beautiful as well as the tasting room and creek. So much old wood and character that gave us high hopes! Unfortunately, we found the wines “young” and sour. Some will be delicious with a few more years of aging but they are not there yet.

Be sure to call and reserve your doughball for pizza on Sunday. Wait til 12 if you want wine. Excellent experience. You can't stop eating the pizza until it's gone. It's just that good. Bacon, brie highly recommended. Be sure to walk around the property and take a look at the creek and waterfalls.

    Pizza is only on Sundays!

The bacon Brie pizza is the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Anywhere. At any price. I've had it three times now and it stands true. If you have it and disagree, feel free to reach out to me And I'll explain why you're wrong. : )

I got married at Elkin Creek Vineyard last month and it was a fantastic experience. We and our guests were very pleased with the pizza and appetizers during the reception. The setting for the wedding and reception was beautiful and Jennifer was extremely helpful throughout the day. My husband and I are so glad that we chose Elkin to host our special day!

Love everything about this place. The owners are amazingly friendly. The building is historic. The grounds including the creek is beautiful. Their wines are smooth and you can taste the quality. And The pizza is worth the wait. Total package for a wonderful afternoon or weekend. Cabins are available right on site. Don't pass up this gem.
