Another beautiful day here at the Middlebury KOA! Hope and Nick did it again y'all! Firewood was already waiting at my site when I arrived, and I didn't even order any yet! They arranged a shuttle for my family and I to go to the exotic animal farm while our RV was getting repaired. I love this place!

Have stayed here several times while having work done on my trailer at the factory. Have always had a great stay and they are very willing to accommodate you even when your schedule is a little crazy. Definitely will stay here again.

This was our first time camping at a KOA campground and we loved every minute of it. Hope and her staff were awesome at making you feel at home. The campground is well maintained, with many activities and beautiful trails to keep busy. Or just pull up a lawn chair and enjoy the camp fire with old and new friends.

Last year we stayed here in our motor home and thoroughly enjoyed the friendly and accommodating staff. I took advantage of their shuttle service to the world-famous flea market which was an incredible shopping experience! I also wanted to take the shuttle for the "back country roads" tour, however, there weren't enough people signed up so I was unable to go.

This year, we stayed here again in our motor home and this time, I was able to take advantage of their "back-country roads" tour and what a wonderful tour it was! Our driver, Peter, was very informative about the various places that we visited which included an Amish family wood working business, an Amish carriage business with an opportunity to see how the carriages are built/finished inside & out, several Amish bakeries as well as a store that had actual honey bees with the queen bee on exhibit in a glass enclosure where the honey is produced, cheese/sausage/dairy markets, quilts and gift stores which we could browse at our own leisure ending the day with lunch at a lovely hometown restaurant.

This was one of the best, most relaxed and informative tours I've ever had the pleasure of participating in. We saw several stores of various products including Amish quilts, hardware, antiques, hand-made furniture, Amish-grown popcorn, etc. Peter pointed out lovely Amish houses/farms with meticulous landscaping, bordered with bright and colorful flowers as well as explaining their lifestyle and beliefs to us.

I highly recommend this tour and look forward to going again next year!

One of the most relaxing campgrounds we've stayed in and we've been traveling in motor homes for over 20 years. Staff were very helpful. Our site was a generous pull through with trees and greenery on our windows side and an open view of the campground in front. Teenagers camping there were happily pedaling the carts around instead of just texting. Kids played basketball too. It still was a quiet place for us seniors. Middlebury is a beautiful area with great food and shopping. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Small campground but close to lots of fun places to visit. The grounds and restrooms were maintained well. I was very happy to see a fenced in dog area where the dogs could run around off leash. Didn't have much interaction with the staff, but seemed friendly. Have stayed here several times and plan to again. I love that it's close to places with lots of fun things to do.

The park staff are great. No golf. Grass needs cutting from last year. The park itself is very messy. Trash along the pond, beer bottles , food wrappers. They are selling Left over ice cream from last year. Not a very good place to stay. Needs some serious updating and cleaning.

Wonderful staffs! Its the friendliest, most helpful, & attentive staffs that we had encountered. This park is very well-maintained & clean. It is also located right next to the best ice cream place, Yup. Even the other RVers were friendly & sociable. The trails were good exercise place for my dogs as well. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately, the lake is cluttered with debris which bred a lot of mosquitoes.

Scores a five star for the courteous staff. Clean bathrooms. And it's convenient location for I80 for travelers.

I gave a four star review because you will most likely want to employ your ear plugs if you are a tent camper. The non electric tent sites are located right along a small highway, that seems only to be traveled by motorcycles and trucks with sawed off mufflers. I suggest paying the extra couple bucks for the electric sites because you will be about 50 yards further away from the road.

Also note that there is there is a railroad close by and the trains don't begin until 11pm.

Other than the noise factor, which seems present at all KOA's, this a good family friendly stopping point for your cross country journey.

When I go to a campground I like to put my card on file and dispense with the wallet. Apparently this KOA "has not learned to use the KOA System yet". I even made sure to tell them that they are losing money by swiping all the time. So for me personally that would be a reason not to return. They also have a $5 minimum on credit cards.

Campground is just off a noisy road. All of the amenities are quite close to that road.

After I paid for some wood to be delivered it took a second visit to the store to get the wood delivered.

WiFi seemed to be over subscribed so forget doing any work on the free Wi-Fi.

Pull through spots are way too close to each other and since they all have a fire pit the pit is too close to RVs once slides are out and everything.

We had friends staying on-site in a cabin. Apparently the facilities were not very clean so we had to offer them the use of the shower and toilet in our trailer.

So this site is very okay but not one I would go out of my way to stay at.

I guess it does not mean you will not like it. Just wasn't for me.
