Ever since my boyfriend brought me one if their bacon wrapped meatloaf sandwiches, I'm hooked. Oh my goodness, it's delicious! We now go there at least once a month (usually on Thursdays when they have said sandwich). Recently I also tried the blue balls, which are great, too.
We live a block away from Loews and although it has a beautiful lobby bar, we never found a reason to go there just for a drinkuntil last Tuesday. One of my favorite singer/piano player, Robert Ray, was there entertaining the crowd. Robert engages everyone with his music. I hope Loews can sign him up for more days during the week. We will definitely be visiting more often.
While I cannot speak intelligently to the rest of the menu, Eleven is a great spot for their lunch salad bar. For about $12.50 (w/o tip), you typically get 3 different choices of lettuce, as many toppings as you can heap into your bowl (e.g. beets, cucumbers, blue cheese, sprouts, artichokes, and so much more), as well as an array of dressings and nuts. Top that all off with your choice of chicken, steak, or shrimp, a bread basket, and rotating dessert and you have a large lunch. They rotate their toppings as well, so none of it is terribly repetitive. Additionally, when you dine in you receive a bowl of homemade kettle chips, which are also delicious. Eleven gives other salad bars a run for their money in terms of quantity, quality, and variety of options. The price tag is a little high, but it's offset by the volume of salad you get and the quality ingredients.
Really enjoyed hanging out at the Eleven.
This is a sleek place on the ground floor right next to the lobby of the Loews Hotel.
Good drinks. Chilling music and a 3 story tall bar.. try the hummus w olives.
