Restaurant was very busy (holiday weekend, big OSU game, prime dinner time) but we were promptly seated. The servers were very quick and friendly! Overall a great experience and we look forward to trying other El Toros closer to our home.

Terrible service and the manager was equally as bad. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We go here at least once or twice a week for lunch and usually have a great experience. However this time we were seated and nobody took our drink order for at least 10 minutes. After waiting an extra 5-10 minutes after we got our drinks we called the manager over. The place was obviously plenty staffed because as we called the manager over they celebrated somebody’s birthday where about 8 employees sang happy birthday including the manager. When the manager came over, he blamed us for being impatient and not waiting for a server to come and get our order. We waited over 15 minutes and we are impatient? Yeah right. The manager is not a manager, a real manager would have defused the situation and took the order personally and apologized for the wait. Instead he acted childish, defensive and very unprofessional. What really got me was at the end when we were leaving, I looked back and he made a shoo shoo motion towards us and started complaining about us and not caring what the customer had to say.
I really hope the owner or at least the manager who was there at 1:30pm on 11/16/17 reads this and recognizes they need to improve from the situation rather than say the customer was wrong.

We go to El Toro in Huber Heights often. We are always welcomed warmly (they know us when they see us!) And the food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!!

I love mexican cuisine and this used to be one of my favorite places to go. It is nice if you eat there, but their takeout is nothing short of a scam. They bend the insides of the foil packages up, so it appears full when its really not. They also only give one bag of chips, no matter how many meals or dips you order. The employees are also quite rude. Sad to say, but I will be looking elsewhere to get my fix of mexican cuisine.

Place is clean, service is very polite, they try to make the ambiance as authentic as possible, the food is good and the portions are really big. They should make them a bit smaller for sure. They have area outside and you should definitely take advantage of it when the weather is nice.

I really like the atmosphere here. The service could have been a little better but the time we went there were a lot of large parties the staff had to keep happy as well. The food as usual of any El Toro was delicious. I look forward to our next visit.

I've eaten at several El Toro locations and always been happy with the experience, especially so at the Vandalia location.

However, it seems the Huber Heights location likes to scam people on the use of their coupons which are published in monthly ads. We visited the Huber location on 10/15/14 and had good service, food and drinks but that's where the happiness ends. They rang up one of our random entrees (#21) as a $1 off "daily special" when they noticed I had coupons. Because the coupons aren't able to be combined with any other discount, my $6 off coupon wasn't accepted. Nowhere in the restaurant did it say that entree #21 was a daily special. I voiced my displeasure over this obvious scam to our waitress and told her we wouldn't bother coming back. The "manager" did stop us on our way out the door and said he would re-ring the sale but I wasn't willing to wait around for him to make it right.
