  Editing to remove all stars. When I call in an order for carryout, don't make me wait in a line of 15 people ordering to pick it up. The entire point of CALLING. Thanks for the wasted 30 minutes before work for cold food.
  
  Absolute favorite place to eat here, I will miss it greatly when I leave!
  Recommend: chicken tacos, tostada, pasole, and horchata.

  Peas in a taco?
  
  Seriouisly?
  Not that I am an expert on "Mexican" food, but I do consider myself somewhat of an expert on New Mexican Food. I grew up on it.
  
  I can't believe this place puts green peas in their tacos. Pure nasty. No other way to put it.
  
  Not sure if they are part of El Paragua, but I am going to assume they are. This is Irony at it;s best.
  El Paragua is some of the VERY best New Mexican food (I would put Sadies in ABQ in this catagory). El Parasol is the exact opposite.
  
  Twice in 4 years I've tried it. Won't ever ever ever eat here again. Ever.

  An old stand-by for tacos. My husband had just run an ultra marathon and needed carbs and protein. There were several of us in our large party mid-afternoon and they didn't seem phased. Food was good. Good menu options.

  This is probably the worst Mexican food I've had in my entire life. And I grew up in the Midwest, so that's saying something. I ordered a veggie taco. It was just greasy potatoes in a tortilla, and it appeared as though they had deep fried the whole thing. I can't even describe how bad it was. I ate one bite and threw the rest away, which I have never done before.

  This food used to be so good on the weekends!! But today we were going to eat the burritos at home so we opened them and they were cold as if they were refrigerated 😡😰👎🏾 This has happened twice in the past two weekends?

  Service fast and prompt, but I was not thrilled with their red chile flavor, which didn't have any depth. We shared a carne adovado burrito and a beef taco plate.. tacos were not bad with crunchy homemade shells, but the refried beans were dry and lacked flavor.. inside was packed and very noisy, but there were a few tables outside -- better!

  The fried corn tacos were amazing! I don't know how another can compare. The soft corn beer tacos were also tasty. I'm not sure why this restaurant isn't rated higher.

  El Parasol is THE place in Los Alamos for excellent southwestern food. This one features community tables to allow for more seating , meeting and greeting. Unfortunately they close at 6 PM

  The best tacos, but the chicken green Chile burrito is to die for also. They also have excellent green chili cheeseburgers.
