Everything rocked. Burger, iron beer (cream soda), and flan. Seriously, don't overlook the flan

The white clad cook, who closely guards his recipes, fries up an angry vat of chicharrones for the lucky few each week.

Maria's cortadito to close out your lunch is THE absolute troof. It's made with leche evaporada and a whole lotta love.

MUST HAVE: Pan con bistec. Fritas are by far the best in Miami - & probably Cuba for that matter, have it with a fried egg on top. El Mago and his daughter Martica will always make at home, ask Obama!

Make sure to check out all the cool items framed on the wall. Notice the Pres is drinking a Materva--elixir of the gods!

Do yourself a favor. Get any of the Frita variations (they're all great) and a batido de Mamey. If you fancy a pan con bistec then indulge yourself. Chicharrones on Saturdays. Thank me later!!

At El Mago de las Fritas, the polemic Cuban hamburger is $3.50, both delicious and affordable.

When you go to this Gem, you have to let Martha and Barry tell you the story of how this place came to be. Loved every minute I was there and every piece of food I ate! Frita, chicharones, ajiaco, etc
