The Geology Department prepares highly motivated students for a career in the geological and earth sciences fields. The curriculum offers more than just traditional lecture courses, but also a diverse array of field labs that will introduce students to basic and advanced geological processes found in the coastal, desert and mountain regions of California.

The purpose of this page is to foster communication between staff and students, share information about upcoming conferences, workshops, and labs, and to inform students of upcoming scholarships and grants.
