My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Edelweiss. It was our first time at TSV, and the Edelweiss team went above and beyond to make our stay as stress-free as possible. Even during the summer, they were able to find us a chef for dinners and a babysitter to watch our two children while my husband and I enjoyed an evening out. Also, we both had massages with Tammy that were wonderful. All you need is in the room, and if you find something else you need, they will find it. We will be back. It was such a wonderful family trip that we extended our stay.
Thank you!
Beautifully appointed ski resort condominium hotel with spacious slope-facing rooms that offers ski-in/ski-out from it's private courtyard. a separate skier's entrance has assigned and heated boot lockers with hot air dryers, ski racks are located in the courtyard and has a heated garage. The staff is exceptionally friendly and pays attention to details. The associated ski shop and rental place is very convenient, well stocked and is operated by excellent and knowledgeable staff. The real highlight is it's restaurant, Blonde bear tavern, which has never disappointed, but always amazes.
Great condo's with ski in/out access! Spa has great masseuses!
Really good meal from their sandwich menu. I had the best Reuben ever. The burgers looked good and everyone loved their chicken pot pie, nothing like the frozen food version. Nice choice of beers on tap. Fabulous cheesecake desert. The wait staff was super. I'm looking forward to going back the next time I'm in Taos Ski Valley.
Rooms are spacious and super clean. Everything is very nice. Seems to be updated very recently. The bed is very comfortable. Lots of TV channels. Has a mini fridge and a microwave. I love that the bathroom has a separate door to the toilet. Shower was amazing. Has a spa; awesome workout room; sauna; hot tub. We had to arrive late and they had everything for us-even emailed and left a message for us with the garage code. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Taos Ski Valley.
This lodge was the best. Probably one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. There are fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms. Each room is uniquely decorated and they each have their own charm. No rat heads the in sinks. It was a wonderful experience to stay here.
Outstanding, ski lodge for the family, ski in ski out, boot lockers, great food
Got to stay in room 411, which I assume was the penthouse or something like it, and it was the nicest condo I have ever stayed in. The furnishings were amazing(you could tell that the owners spent a lot of time at the place) and the location was perfect. Ski-in ski-out was great and you could walk to anywhere in the town. Couldn't have been better. (Thanks Kwali for the great service)
Great stay. Well maintained site. Professional and courteous staff. Great location.
Excellent rooms, staff is very polite and they make skiing here very easy.
I only used the Fitness,Center and it was great
My wife and I stayed in a room described as a "lock-off", which I guess means it's part of a larger condo unit. It was like a regular hotel room with a comfortable bed and full bathroom. We appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. There is a bar/restaurant/espresso shop in the lobby that is convenient and also has good service. The food was above average.
The location couldn't be better, as it's right in the village at the base of the slopes. Garage parking was provided. Wifi was good. Our room also included access to an onsite locker room with boot driers.
We'll be staying again!
Great location in the heart of the Taos Ski Valley, right on the ski hill and across the street from Tim's and the Taos Ski Valley skier drop off. The condos are well furnished with fireplaces and ours had a large deck. The tiled bathrooms had great shower/bath with in floor radiant heat (the entire place has radiant heat). The skier "locker room" on the first floor is a great idea, no lugging helmets/jackets/gloves back and forth to your bedroom (great with kids!). The first floor also had an exercise room (not sure who needs more exercise on top of skiing) with changing rooms, a sauna, and outside hot tub.
