Really good mac and cheese. Unfortunately we had a takeout order on Sunday and they forgot to give it to us 😯 but will definitely go back again
Service was lackadaisical and slightly slow, and it wasn't because the meat was cooking in the smoker.
However the BBQ meal was also a completely disappointing matter. They didn't have any ribs (pork or beef) because they didn't have any room on the smoker. So I reluctantly ordered the pulled pork and brisket platter. A regrettable mistake on my behalf.
My daughter's plate came with the complimentary long black hairs in her rice. However, despite the hair in my daughter's rice, my rice and the Mac & Cheese were the best items of my meal. The baked beans were so spicy that I could not enjoy them. I like spicy food, but these were beyond spicy.
The meat was bland and tasteless, although I could see specks of pink from what I assume was part of a smoke ring, the flavor was washed out as if it were boiled in a crock pot or reheated with water in the oven.
Save yourself the disappointment and use your GPS to find another place to eat. My family and I won't ever be returning.
This place has a great atmosphere to it. Really cool stuff hanging on the walls. The workers and the owner are very friendly. I had the fire bomb burger and it was excellent. There other selections are delicious as well. The food came quick and there wasn't a long wait on a Saturday evening. Highly recommend coming here.
Having been here about 6 times, it's official. You can do better if you want decent barbecue.
To their credit, the items on the menu are creative and sound wonderful, and they make really good homemade iced tea. But thats about where it ends.
On my last visit, the chips were soggy and tough, obviously left out overnight. The brisket was tough and obviously had been on a warming rack for several hours, possibly overnight. The roll was soggy and limp. Even my fries were soggy.
My daughter's mac and cheese tasted of powdered cheese, and ny other daughter had a cheeseburger that was pretty bad. How does a restaurant screw up a frozen beef patty? Ask Eat Street, they would know.
I've had beef ribs here and also had chicken and pork ribs. For some reason, this place has a problem cooking beef. I strongly advise against ordering a $25 rack of 3 beef ribs.
The chicken is tolerable, but mostly flavorless.
They do their pork ribs well, I've had them on several occasions and they are pretty solid. That and the iced tea are pretty much the only thing going for this place though.
Barbecue isn't hard to make, and tough flavorless meat is unacceptable. It is the opposite of "low and slow" cooking. Save your money and buy a smoker.
The food was delicious! BBQ sauce was very tasty. Great prices, big portions.
I will be returning.
Ive been here 2 times with my family. My wife loves the crispy chicken wrap. I had the pulled pork the first time and it was exceptional. My second time i had the fire bomb burger which it was good but i guess i wasnt so sure about the shrimp on top of the burger. Abit pricey although they have military and emergency services discounts.
Great service, Great Food, Very Clean, I have never had bad food. I would recommend the half rack of ribs!!! Affordable Prices
Nice variety and good prices. Pork ribs were very meaty, tender and flavorful. Great tasting pulled pork, brisket and beans. Definitely worth a visit.
I've eaten here two times and my wife has eaten here four times. This place is AWESOME! The food is spectacular. They smoke their food for 10-14 hours and take pride in all of their dishes. The brisket is AMAZING, and so are the kebobs. The ambiance is relaxed and fun. This is the kind of place that seems like it could easily be a national chain.
Food was absolutely delicious and yes the wait was a bit long but it's not to keep yourself occupied with chips and dip. I will definitely be coming back to try some other foods. Prices are competitive with other restaurants in the area.
