Pros: Pastor Rehmel is a super nice guy, and a HUGE Johnny Cash fan. That being said, the sermons that I've heard him preach are fairly entertaining and often are engaging and stick to the word of God with a bit of flavor. People are fairly nice and the cafe is a decent addition to the church as well. There are a few activities which are planned here and there. The environment itself is rather relaxed, though maybe too much at times. Great worship music led by brother Brock with many sorts of variety. Lots of Cincinnati Bengals fans, and the dress code is also relaxed.

On the other hand, I believe Brother Rehmel is spread quite thin of having the duty of working with more than 200 members within the large congregation. It's nice that they have a prayer table for prayers and all, but I think it would be an excellent idea if a fairly large prayer team of 30 or more individuals who are willing to pray with others in the church whether it's before, during , or after each of the two services were established. There are people within the congregation that go to these churches not only to fellowship, but to seek the spiritual and emotional support that's needed. In my opinion, what makes or breaks a church is a supportive prayer team. If Moses can appoint 70 elders to help guide their large crew in the Old Testament, then I'd say Eastside is more than capable of generating a decent prayer team.

Bottom line; Still a decent church to attend if you're new to the area of Ohio.

Simply the best church I have ever been to. The people are amazing and the pastors are like family. My wife and I have been going here for years and we look forward to coming back every Sunday. We also volunteer in the Sunday school program, which is also another amazing thing about this church. If you are someone that doesn't like church or if you've had a bad experience, this is the perfect church for you. The people are welcoming and the entire experience is great. The music is awesome too!

We love this church because they follow God's message very simply, love God, love people. The praise music is exciting and better than anywhere I have been before, and the message is straight from the Bible. People that don't typically like church love Eastside because all are welcome and loved, and the people are real.

I love their slogan 'Church for people who don't like Church'.

For me, it is definitely better than any Church experience that I have ever had. I love their laid back style as everyone dresses casual (I even see tons of Bengal jerseys) I love their music as it feels more like a concert instead of a recital and I love their staff as they seem down to earth and very approachable.

    Thanks Eastside!!
