I had never taken my dog here before but they where the first vet open on Friday morning. I called 20 mins before they opened hoping to get my dog in since his back legs stopped working. I was surprised when they answered that early and where able to get him right in at 8. I had to carry him in the door but one of the workers saw me carrying him and held it open she even knew his name from when I called ahead. They got him right in a room. At this point I didn’t think my dog wasn’t going to make it through the day. The Vet came in and reassured me he could get him back to health. He took his time and explained everything to me. Everyone from the front desk, vet techs and the Dr where awesome. Highly recommend!!!!!!

We love dunckel and everything they have done for us. Dr.Shelly is our favorite! We have lost and gained pets and they have been there every step of the way!

All these people want is your money they don't care about anything else. My dog had surgery that was originally supposed to cost $400 funny thing we got a call that morning saying it was more extensive than they had originally thought and it ended up costing $1,000. They said they would have to go deeper into remove all of his tail and they didn't even do that, he still has half of his tail! yet we had to pay the full thousand dollars, for what!? Now he's getting the stitches out and bleeding all over the place which they knew ahead of time we got a call from dunckel before his appointment saying he was going to be on medication for it. so when we went in did they give us the medication? No, we'd have to make another appointment for that while the dog is bleeding on the floor. Why wasn't that ready when we came in? why do we have to spend more money on another appointment? Why couldn't it have been done the same day we were there? It's a 40-minute trip for us Why do we have to make yet another appointment to get refills on his other medication? I am not happy that they sent a dog home bleeding without the medication we were told he would be getting that morning they just want more money for all these extra vet visits rather than doing it while we were there! In the meantime he's still bleeding!

I will always recommend Dunckels to anyone. They are an amazing crew! They took care of our Oliver, who was thrown from a truck window. Dr. Wright and Chelsea went above and beyond for our sweet kitty and I will always hold them in our prayers.

Dunckel is not our regular vet, but we brought our dog there for a procedure and I am very glad we did. I appreciate that the staff was knowledgeable and professional and took the time to educate us on the procedure and after care. Also, they were very thorough and up front with pricing! Which is amazing because it seems like every other vet I've been to, it's a guessing game as to what the bill will beAlso, we had a concern about the surgical site a few days after the procedure, so we brought him back and they got us in and took care of us right away with no appointment. I would definitely recommend this vet and if we lived closer I would love for them to be our regular vet. Thank you Dr. Dunckel and staff for the wonderful care! :)

I'm sure this place is fine, but my experience was not good. I took off work thinking there was no way I'd be home in time when taking my guinea pig to get looked at for her slanted head, which is a common sign for an ear infection in guinea pigs. She was also going blind in one eye. I spent a total of 20 minutes in and out of this place, including the 2 minutes the vet spent looking at her and giving me antibiotics. Well, $70 later, I now have a guinea pig who is blind in both eyes and fully deaf. If the vet bothered to try to think of another cause to her head tilt, which is still completely present, maybe she could've been given some medication that would've prevented this from happening. Maybe nothing could've stopped her from becoming Helen Keller, but it would've been nice if she seemed to care about the animals she's working on. Oh, and totally could've still made it to work.

BAD experience. Incompetent staff??? I called , made an appointment for a dental exam followed by an extraction for an abcessed tooth. Show up for appt. they have nothing on record of said appt. and how stupid that they need a referral for a dog thats been a patient since 2013??

My dog Luna is a big overly excited girl who can't sit still to save her life. But when I took her in to get her shots and license when she was younger, the people at Dunckel were very patient and good with her. They helped ease her anxiety and took very good care of my girl.

I have had great experience with boarding department with my fur baby. Docs and techs show true concern over my pets when they have had to have treatment. Staff is also very helpful, friendly and answer my concerns. Phones are answered quickly by humans so you're not going through the horrible automated systems that everyone hates. Great place! Happy workers=Welcoming environment.
