My wife and I frequent the restaurant about once a week. This is one of our favorite establishments to enjoy dinner and drinks in our area. in 2014, I proposed to my wife in the engagement room, so this is a special place for us. The owner even helped me pick up the box with the engagement ring and deliver it at the right time. They have the best oysters Rockefeller and shrimp cocktail in the area. Bartender Michael Paone is great to serve drinks and we like to sit at a bar table. The decor at Christmastime is delightful. Highly recommended!!

Everything was outstanding and exceeded our highest expectations. I was recreating a first date that my wife and I had 35 years ago. I arranged the menus with the owner and requested the cozy private dinning area for two that we enjoyed on our first date. The food was amazing. My wife had a steak which was just so tender, juicy and tasty. I had salmon that had a a peach glaze. The vegetables and salads were top notch. Aaaaah the desert , a chocolate peanut butter lava cake hot out the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Our waitress Rebecca went out her way to make our special evening even more special. Thanks to all, it was a night we will never forget. We will be back soon. 10 stars.

A little Chester County Gem! Beautiful scenery, decorations and accoutrements. The staff is warm, welcoming and really good at their jobs. The owner remembered us from staying in the inn over a year ago.
Tonight, we went for fun because it’s such a blast. Our server Amy was absolutely phenomenal. It’s been a rough week, and we haven’t been able to spend any quality time together. She made our date night special, boxed our meal for us, and spoke kindly all night. She is THE reason we’ll be coming back!response / report this review -

Amazing dinner tonight for our anniversary. We were seated next to the fireplace as requested and our server (Julia I think) was fantastic. I came here for the weinerschnitzel and it did not disappoint. My husband had the lobster crepes which he loved. We both had the chocolate mousse for dessert which was divine. Beautiful restaurant, great food, great service.

Our experience dining in this charming place was very nice. The food was prepared to perfection and the different quality of flavors make us want to come back again and again. Our server was super sweet and very helpful and Michael the bartender was so friendly. He went out of his way to make our time special. I had the rack of wild boar special and my wife had the duck. We were very satisfied.
