My colleagues and I attended an Open house. Friendly people in admission office and answered all our questions. Cozy, beautiful campus.
I didn't go to this school. Thank God! But I did go to their library a long time ago. I was just making photocopies and was harassed by a librarian for no reason. I had to make a lot of photocopies that day and it took some time. I feel bad for students going to this overpriced "prestigious" haha my ass school.
Lovely campus, challenging coursework, frequent recreation. Nice location in town.
No way these ratings are real. The school probably paid people to write false and inaccurate reviews.
I am currently a student here(worst mistake of my entire life). This school has nothing to offer, other than relative proximity to NYC. The types of students this institution attracts are not students you want to be around if you're actually a responsible, capable, and smart individual who actually seeks an education. You will not grow here. You will not learn, or have a positive undergrad experience. I'll let you judge the people yourself. Let's move onto the school.
Other than the gross amount they charge for BA degrees from a not- even- tier- 3 school, this school fails in other arenas.
- Budgeting
- Attracting capable professors
- Maintenance and upgrades of buildings
- Student body
Regarding budgeting- the school will fund bull crap clubs and events to satisfy the ridiculous sensitivities of certain groups to give the illusion of a caring administration. Money down the drain. They will waste money trying to attract students, on their losing sports teams, and unnecessary events.
Regarding the professors, typical to a liberal arts college, they like to push their social concerns on their students- you must tread carefully writing essays in order to receive a good grade. They push their own books and texts so students are forced to buy them. Few actually care about educating the kids with academic aptitude.
Regarding maintenance of the buildings, sure they can plaster McLendon Hall, the newest building, that cost millions to build, every where, but they fail to address the shambles of other older buildings. No AC, peeling radiators that they slathered a chemical coloring over, leaking and rusting bathroom facilities, broken blinds, I can go on... There is also a large string of theft occurring in three different buildings. Many students call for the installation of cameras since the theft is out of hand, however, the school does not deem it important enough to spend money on- they'd rather spend it on installing decorative fixtures with no function in the Commons (cafeteria).
Bottom line, if you care for your future and the education you want, go to Rutgers. Go to any institution that is not this joke of a school. Hopefully, they'll be forced to shutter their doors.
Cool staff from my experience.
Solid university for graduate and undergraduate studies
This is where my school took us for Project Graduation and it was a great experience. I loved the amenities; pool, racquetball courts, gym, soccer field, etc.
You cant imagine how nice it is doing business with Drew University banquet staff. We love to accommodate the linen needs for Drew University and its staff. Thank you Drew from all of us at ASAP Linen!
Graduated from Drew in 2010. Had an amazing time during my four years at this University. Teachers are very accommodating and go the extra mile for you in and out of the classroom. Definitely worth looking into. Majored in Political Science
