I have been visiting Dr. Potla for last three years and have had good experience with each visit. She spends enough time to hear any of our concerns and provides the right guidance. Highly recommended.
take care before you pay. weird billing system.
Google reviews have their place but if you have grievances/complaints contact the state medical board and let law take its course just like I did.
For consumer related issues report to the consumer bureau. Health care and patient service is sanctimonious. Don't take easy route by posting Google reviews.
They have been harassing me by calling to pay though phone or else come into office. No checks, no wife transfer and no online bill payment method. Running as a quacks office in hinterlands.
Been here couple times just because I couldn't find any doctor on weekend.
Otherwise:
1. Lax billing. Been called 7 months later to say insurance didn't cover so have to shell out 200 bucks. Requested to send me a bill. Never got the bill neither in email nor postal address. How can one pay with out a bill?
2. Doctor is meh! Weekend urgent visits probably if its me.
3. Sub-par professionalism at the entrance counter akin to going and picking up a towed car.
Worst experience with the front office attendant. Very rude behavior. The doctor is not very knowledgeable. Did not provide appropriate medication. There are much better doctors available in and around valley ranch. No doubt they have a bad rating on the website. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here.
My wife and I visited her office for our yearly physical twice and here are our impression of her professional ethics, both as a physician and a business person:
Her staff, twice read us the results from our previous blood tests and ,therefore, gave us the wrong results. They are very unqualified and overworked, but generally nice people.
My follow up visit was cancelled twice, once because they forgot to tell me to fast for a blood test and the other time her office was closed due to technical issues. They did not even call me to inform me of the cancellation so I would not have to drive to her office and not waste my whole day. Lost two days because of that at work.
I had to change my pharmacy twice because of my insurance requirements, which made her very upset. Questioning me why am I changing my pharmacy every year.
Her office still wanted me to reschedule for the third time. When I objected and told them that I can not schedule another appointment, after the second cancellation, due to work , for a while, but I still need my medication to be refilled, the doctor picked up the phone herself and told me to look for another physician and would no longer want to see me at her office, leaving me scrambling to find another physician so my medications will not run out.
She is very abrupt and abrasive with her patients, to the point that I lost all my respect for her as a physician and a person. WRONG bedside manner, to say the least.
I know, we should have changed the physician when she messed up our blood test results the first time. But we are believers in second chances.
I do not intent to tell anyone whether to avoid her or not. I just wanted to share our experience.
Thank you.
