  • How does virtual or online therapy work??
    The client receives a secure meeting link by email, and simply has to click on it. Virtual meetings are “face to face” with the help of a cell phone, laptop, or desktop with a camera. The therapy process is exactly the same virtually as it is in person. The content of the conversations, collaborative problem solving, strategy development, and therapeutic support is the same as if we were in the same “office” space. The only difference is that we are physically having that same meeting in different places versus in one space.

    It might be difficult to “know” if you “need” therapy. I usually suggest people don’t get hung up on wondering if they “need” therapy. It is better to ask if therapy can benefit you.
