Was at youth football at the stadium the kids all had a really good time, there was only one thing that bothered me, there was no American flag flying with the national anthem, the young girl cheerleaders Squad brought a very small flag and held it! The reason it bothered me is that I'm a patriotic US Veteran !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For over 50 years Doyt L. Perry stadium has hosted college football in Bowling Green. There are no bad seats in the stadium which has excellent sight-lines. The west side is the favored area to sit given the east-west orientation of the stadium. While seats are reserved in most cases I haven’t been forced to sit in my actual ticketed location in over 25 years. Concessions are modest but there are often local vendors that add options beyond the usual soda, pretzels and pizza. The pleasure of being at the stadium is as much in whom you are with and the local social aspect. Like many BGSU venues, the stadium is a place you see many folks from in-town and beyond.

Tailgating is easy and very near the stadium. Parking is ample. Local hotels and places to eat are literally across the street and within short walking distance. Like the entire city, you can walk from the middle of downtown to the stadium in half an hour or so. It isn’t uncommon to see people walking downtown after games.

Go Falcons! It's a football stadium, after all! We need to find a way to fill up the stadium on Saturdays for football games!
