Dollar General is the only place I frequent more than once a month. It's always clean, well stocked and has a large variety of basic need items including food, cosmetics and housewares.

Fast and friendly workers, easy checkout. The isle' s are wide enough to have two customer carts down at same time. Carbondale Dollar General is almost too narrow to have one go down, sometimes even that is impossible.

I like this new store cause it seems to be bigger and have more space and it's a little more organized. But EVERY time I go in there is only one cashier and the check out line is soooo long that and everyone is so irritated. And every time there's always at least one or two more employees there. And they keep looking up at the line and seeing all the irritated people waiting but then they don't do anything to help the situation. They just keep walking around the store or putting more on the shelf. Or like today the other employee was just standing behind the registers doing nothing and occasionally glancing at her phone. The cashier that was actually working was so stressed out. When I asked the lady standing in line behind if it was always like this. She replied that it was and sometimes it's actually worse.
This store has a great variety of merchandise and at good prices but the customer services is seriously lacking.
