I may be young, but I’m not a thief. I’ve previously purchased items from here for my occupation (I’m a dominatrix and work with a large group of Doms) and I honestly was shocked last night. My girlfriend and I went in with the intention of purchasing toys and a few bondage items.. upon our entrance into the store a gentleman in a corner near the door continuously watched us. Me being naive, and thinking nothing of it; I incorrectly attributed it to either straight people’s fascination with gay people or the fact that we were speaking a different language. Turns out this guy thought we were shoplifting.. from a sex shop. Are you freaking kidding me? He and another gentleman were watching us as we looked around, the other guy approached us after some time and asked if we needed help. My girlfriend was quite indecisive and we decided to leave and come back the next day because the 2nd man told us he’d be bringing new merchandise out in the morning. On our way out, the other man insinuated she had something behind her back and that I was helping her hide it because my hand was behind her back (my hand was on the small of her back) .. she showed him her hands, turned around and defended herself. He kept insinuating her demeanor was strange. She literally had a stoic expression on her face from the moment we went in to the moment the guy accused us of shoplifiting. Plus, the place has cameras. I told them they can go check their merchandise, and their cameras if they thought we were taking anything. It’s a shame this happened. Needless to say, I won’t be back and neither will any of my colleagues. Again: I maybe young, I’m not a thief.
