  the entire staff is always so nice. When you walk in the door Beth greets you with energy and a great smile (even with a mack on you can feel it in her voice), makes processing the paper work personal and not like another number for the day. The waiting room is clean and smells great with lots of daylight. Sara called me in and what a delight (I don't know how Dr. Doane finds such great staff) with again making it personal and creating a comfort level as if you are visiting old friends. The only delay was waiting over 45 minutes after my eyes where dilated for the Dr. to come in (this maybe protocol, but it was longer than anticipated). But Doc was again very pleasant and made (again) feel like old friends for the visit. Miss Amy reviewed the final notes with me. I proceeded out to see Beth as she reviewed my satisfaction and set up my date for 2023, great visit.
  
  I rarely respond to follow up surveys, but in today's ways and the recent customer service in a pathetic (at best ) state this office gives me hope that people really care for each other and made my entire day go better.

  Highly recommend. I have literally been going to Dr. Dawson at Discover O for probably more than 15 years! I trust him more than most and he's easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable and doesn't sugar coat things. He tells you how it is, not how you wish it was! And most importantly, he talks to you in a manner that is easy to understand! Both of my daughters have been going to him for the same length of time and if I trust him not only with my eyes but those of my kids, that should tell you something!

  Dr Dawson and his staff were very helpful and kind. The nice lady(I forgot her name) who brought me to the exam room and started my exam was very nice and professional. The front desk(both) were also very kind. Dr Dawson was excellent, and I appreciate him

  Angela was so friendly and funny and really put me at ease during my appointment. Dr. Dawson was equally as friendly and welcoming. I appreciate how personable he was and I didn’t ever feel like I was a “number”. I feel like I got exceptional care from start to finish. (& Missy at the front desk was really kind- a welcoming front desk really sets the tone for a great appointment). I’m so glad to be back at Discover Independence!

  My vision had suddenly started declining to where I was unable to make out printed text. My standard doctor, also at Discover Vision, wouldn't have been able to see me for a couple of weeks. My situation seemed urgent and I was deeply concerned. Discover Vision Centers scheduled me a next day appointment with Dr. Brett Dawson at another location. I appreciated him generously offering to see me on an unscheduled visit and with such short notice. Within a few minutes, Dr Dawson diagnosed the problem and provided some simple steps for me to try to improve my vision. Notwithstanding my initial uncertainty about these overly simple actions he proposed, I was pleasantly surprised to find his recommendations were spot on! Shortly after I took the first step, I was able to return to my normal reading routine. Thanks Dr. Dawson!
  Also, a shout-out to the Tech who preceded Dr. Dawson. Professional demeanor. Good job!
