I would not recomend discount tire for anything not even for a last resort. I'd go to a junk yard before going to them. After I spent about 2 months waiting to get tires. The first time I went in ordered my wheels and tires they came in a week and they guaranteed they would fit and they didn't. So I said okay and we re-ordered new wheels and tires and was told it would take five days and they will call me to come in and they said they ordered them right then and there. So I waited and 10 days went by and I went in just to be told "oh no one called you? We couldn't order the tires they don't make them in the right size for what you want." So I gave them on more shot and over 2 weeks went by when the tires were supposedly only going to take 3-5 days to come in. And I went in today to get my money. When I did all their manager had to say was I'm sorry about that. Never asked is there anything we can do or why I wanted my money back or anything. I would highly recommend to never go to discount tire. I even found a place to do my wheels and tires which for $1100 cheaper and they are nicer wheels and tires then I was getting from discount tire. I will never be back and either will anyone I know.

Best prices on tires in most cases you can buy tires in the store installed for the same price as off the internet where you would have to pay someone to mount and balance them Discount Tire is awesome

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. They may be a little higher priced but the service is well worth it. Plus if you purchase your tires from here they do rotations free.

I've been going here for years and had great service up until this last time I went to get new tires.

First, they sell the tires I had on reserve to someone else then offer me lower mileage tires for a higher price and I didn't find out they were 20,000 less mileage tires until I got the receipt. I needed the higher mileage tires because I travel a lot and I do not live in Rockford.

Second, I head down the road and my hubcap falls off - mind you I live in Chicago where I drive over potholes and speed bumps all the time and my hubcaps have never fallen off in the year I've had this vehicle.

Then they offer to get new hubcaps for me so I go to pick them up, they put them on and the minute I back out they fall off and I drive over one and break it.

This place has newer employees than what I've seen before and I will not be coming back. This was a HUGE waste of time and money. The quality of their service has gone down tremendously. Buyer beware.

Great place for reasonably priced tires. Not all of us need race-ready tires. Some of us just need decent tires and wheels at a decent price. I got to new wheels put on my Dodge Dart. They did some troubleshooting for a vibration I had and fixed it at a great price.

Typically I've had good experiences here, I've bought 4 sets of tires here for multiple vehicles.
However their appointment process is a joke. With a appointment scheduled it took 45 minutes to start the rotation and that was after I had to inquire what the hold up was as they were bringing in another vehicle that arrived 20 minutes after I got there. Total time at the store for a rotation and to replace a sensor 1hour 25 minutes with an appointment.
All that time and they can't set the pressure on the tires the same. What is the correct pressure for the tires? Obviously the tire experts didn't know since it's different on all 4.

I bought my tires from here because it was a good deal but honestly to get your tires rotated takes an hour that's just crazy I can do it at home myself in 15 minutes I don't think I will ever buy tires from here again I rather pay extra money then waitto have a rotation done Time is money !

This store is much faster than the other location. The best service I've had in a tire shop. They've made things that were my fault right at no cost to me. I recommend this place highly.

Oh my goodness. With all the car problems I have had in the past couple years, they are hands down the best place I have worked with. They are honest, have the cheapest tires, and they're quick. I made an appointment online. I came in and reviewed my purchase with the super friendly assistant manager, Scott. He pointed out that I could upgrade my tires for the same price-Awesome! I swiped my card and relaxed. By the time I finished my morning coffee, they had the car pulled up in front of the front door for me! (Realistically, it was about 45 minutes. I drink slow.) The building and shop were clean, and the guys were laughing in the shop like they really enjoyed their job. Just a great experience all around!
