  If your looking for a computer skip the chains and go local. Staff could not be anymore excellent and knowledgeable. Dillon specially was awesome . Give him a raise! Everyone makes the time to discuss any questions or needs and, will do anything they can to help or resolve a problem.

  Mollie, I think was her name, personable, professional, quick knows what she's doing to the MAX.
  Explained what was wrong with my Dell laptop. She said I Had said yes to this driver update that was like a poor quality scam. She said don't worry about it, happens all the time. Made me feel at ease.

  I am so tired of these guys. Lately, every component I've bought from them had been broken or defective. They have an "exchange only" policy that gives you a measly 14 days to return something. They used to be really good with well stocked stores and great customer service, but now that's all gone. If you walk into the South Austin/Manchaca store, it looks like its about days away from closing for good. They used to be a great alternative to the big box stores, but sadly no more. >:(((

  Went in because my laptop was running slow. The gentleman working talked me through what it could be and the different options to make it run faster. Long story short i ended up getting what he called a solidstate drive, and now my computer is faster than it was when i first got it. ITS AMAZING. Not to leave out, but staff was super nice and very helpful. I'll definitely be back in next time i need some help.

  Had a hard-drive go out on a work computer and DE took care of it without a second question. We did not have proof of purchase, so tech assistant on the phone worked with me to search by purchase amount and date purchased to find our sales order number. Still under warranty, everything done for free, no more problems.

  My son is in college for the first time and Misty is a God send. We live in San Antonio and she explained exactly what he would need for his computer classes. Misty understood our needs and walked us through online ordering support. She kept us in our price range. I am Wesleys mom and when I went to college there were no computers. I get frustrated but Misty explained everything so I understood. It is vital that we spend my sons college money on exactly what his professor requires and Misty made that happen. Misty said we can call her anytime. Wesley is earning a certificate thanks to your five star employee. Thank You. 8-30-2017. We will forever buy all computer equipment at your store and thanks for the free 1 year warrenty!!!

  I brought my laptop in for repairs and they ran some diagnostics immediately, turns out all I needed was a new battery and they updated some drivers that fixed my problems completely. Very helpful and knowledgeable, and nice guys too. Thanks!

  Great prices for purchasing electronics. Wonderful computer repair techs. I have been many time to take laptops for repair and always very happy. Very quick repair -- sometimes same day service! Helpful and knowledgable staff. Highly recommend.

  I used to really like this place. It felt like you could get anything there. This last time I went in it seemed like they really limited their selection. They also changed the layout of the store to where it wasn't really indicative of where to form a line for checkout, everyone just sort of mobbed up and waited for one of the 2 people on the phone to start checking someone out.

  My hard drive died suddenly, and not only was Discount Electronics able to repair my computer with a new hard drive, but they were able to retrieve all my data from my dead hard drive! 2 years of pictures, documents, etc. All in less than 24 hours. The prices were very reasonable, as well. I could not be happier with the service I received here.

  The crew is not that good at getting the right pc for you. One time I went to try to sell my desktop build for gaming and I was expecting to walk out with 200-300$ but they said my originally 560$ PC was worth 25$ and when I went online to value it people were willing to pay a minimum of $300. The workers don't know what they're talking about either. Still after my experience they will do pretty good at fixing your pc. Side note if you ask about buying the origin gaming desktop I know what they will say always they say: "you can build it for half the price." I don't find the manger any more helpful then the every day workers
