Good place to pick up some items for a quick in and out of the store. Will go back again to buy more items.

This Dillons store at Wakarusa and 6th Street is just plain awesome. They have a good selection of products. It's a clean and well-maintained store. And their employee's seem to always be happy and very willing to help. And no I do not work for this Dillons store. I'm just an extremely satisfied customer. In this day and age it is very refreshing to be treated as a customer with respect.

Outstanding visit! The young lady that was the cashier was super friendly. She signed me up for discount points the lady that bagged my grocery was just as nice and we talked about building points to save on gas. Wonderful expierence!

Dillon's is the classic 'super' market / grocery store. Specialty prepared foods such as a deli, bakery, meat department and sushi are there along side the traditional grocery items.
Most of the people working there are pleasant and helpful.
Even though the building was built decades ago, remodeling facelifts keep the interior fresh and modern looking.
A pharmacy and gas station are helpful conveniences.
A Commerce Bank branch and a Starbucks are also present.

    HORRIBLE PHARMACY!
After being a life long customer, and after a couple bad experiences here lately I've had enough!
Today my husband had surgery, the hospital faxed in the prescription 2.5-3 hours prior to his release. Go to pick it up and I'm informed it will be another 45mins with nobody currently there waiting! I informed them he just had surgery he want to get home and rest AND we lived out of town and I needed to get my kids picked up from school. They refused to fill insisted on making us wait well we didn't we went home without my husband getting his medications and they could care less. Called the manager and she didn't care either. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! HORRIBLE PHARMACY! HORRIBLE!

This has become my goto grocery stop. A secure bike rack at the front makes this a convenient place to stop with a bike. As with any good grocery store, all the essentials, and plenty of selections are available. The store also features several isles of organic options in the west side of the store, and a discount shelve hidden away in the rear of the store, near the deli section.

This is a great Dillons. It's clean all the time. It's well stocked. The produce section has great variety and options. When I have been there (usually once a week) the bulk items are fully stocked. The staff are friendly. It looks and feels up to date. I like it a lot!

I like Dillons. I know where everything is and the employees are friendly and helpful. I do think they need more people in the pharmacy, though.. 45 min waits for scripts are common.

This particular Dillons is well laid out and has a sufficient inventory of goods. It also has a gas station attached which which is certainly handy. The prices may be a little higher than other discount stores but they do offer a discount on your gasoline purchases.

Is a great grocery store. You can find mostly anything, from organic to regular produce. Most brands and great people.

Had a weird smell last time I was there, it needs some updating as well. The employees were fine though, pretty average. Has self checkout.

This is my favorite Dillons in Lawrence. They are always very friendly and helpful at this store. I also really like the way the store is laid out. I can get in and out quick if I need to.

I've always had good experiences here, but I just got home from the store and to be honest I'm quite angry. I don't even know what this review will solve, since I don't know the workers name, but I don't know where else to say this. My friend has very low blood pressure and sometimes passes out. In line checking out, she dropped her card. A worker was behind us (I don't know why) and exclaimed "you have to put the card in!" In a condescending tone, as if we were children. My friend gave her card to me to do it for her, and I accidentally put it in the wrong side (I'm not used to cards with the chips, my apologies) at which point your worker grabbed my hand to help me put the card in. So now I have a friend who can barely stand and is about to pass out, a cart full of groceries, and some random woman treating me like a toddler.

This is the grocery store closest to me, so it's where I primarily shop, and it's fine. I'm adding a star because I really benefit from gas discounts using reward points. I much prefer the prices and selection at Checkers and wish it were more convenient to me.
