Very nice place to take your kiddos on a hot day, nice for swimming, hiking, or just having a picnic.

Love Delaney. We are there 3-4 days a week during camping season. If you haven't been in the last 3 years you need to give it another shot. New management, new lodges, new shelter houses. They have really cleaned it up. There is absolutely no campers in the primitive camping with generators running as I saw posted before.

I have used this park many times for hiking access to the northern terminus of the Knobstone Trail. My experiences there have been fine. I camped there one time late in the season so there weren't many people there. It was a peaceful and pleasant enough place to camp. I have never used the store or beach area. The person at the gate is usually friendly and helpful. Glad to see the county is still able to keep a place like this open.

[6:19:52 PM] Kristina Cannon: I had a horrible experience at Delaney today.. I will NOT be coming back at all If we would have known that we were NOT ALLOWED TO USE FLOATIES for our children, we would have NEVER came out there.. I also think that you all should have on your website the items that you are allowed to have and NOT allowed to have It wasn't even posted on the life guards stand on what was allowed for the kids to use.. I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old.. we had gotten changed and everything and where getting into the water and then told that the floatie we were putting my daughter in was and I quote "NOT COAST GUARD APPROVED" I am sorry but I WILL be contacting the coast guard and talking to them about this. I WILL NOT BE BACK and I WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO NOT GO OUT THERE BECAUSE OF OUR EXPERIENCE.
