We have been skiing in Ellicottville for years and this is our go-to place for ski and snow board gear. First, the boot fitting is unsurpassed. My wife and I both have difficult feet to fit.mine quite wide and hers are narrow with a high arch. We both had great fitting experiences and still love out boots 3 seasons later!
We have 3 kids who all rent/lease though them for the season. Their season equipment is of great quality! Last year we had 2 skiers in Volkl skis.and not just the entry level. Our boarder loved his board so much he asked them to hold it for him for this year. (which they did)
Finally, the service is exceptional.

Over the years I've worked with each of the shops in Ellicottville. In the end I always find the most satisfaction with Dekdebruns. It does help to have the right expectations.

I will never buy boots anywhere else. The boot prices are competitive, they'll give you a reasonable trade in on good equipment, but most importantly their boot fitters will absolutely not quit until they get your feet perfect.

Their clothing is all high end stuff that you won't find anywhere else. Nothing is their store is sub-standard. So if you can find something on sale or closeout, you cannot go wrong. You are almost always guaranteed to love the quality. It stings me to spend that much, but we absolutely love everything we've bought there.

We do the rental program with our kids ski gear. On this their prices are totally reasonable and our kids are styling.

At other stores you might pay less money but you never truly know if you're buying crap. Dekdebruns is family owned and operated and what I appreciate most is that I feel like I can absolutely trust them to do the right thing by me and my family.
