  Just a little heads up for anyone who buys from sellers on eBay or Etsy. Please take the time to leave feedback/reviews/ratings. Positive feedback is so important because it helps to build their business. I have been selling through eBay and Etsy for about three years. Only about half the people who buy from me take the time to leave reviews, even when I go out of my way to do something extra they asked me to do. I put a lot of time, thought, and love into the things I make. I assume people are satisfied because I know if something was wrong, they’d contact me for sure. I’ve never had a bad review, but have sure had lots of missing reviews/acknowledgments. For we crafters who peddle our crafts, it would be deeply appreciated!

They were made with thought and love by the seamstress. 3). They are one-of-a-kind gifts that no one else will give. . 4). They will be better quality than store bought quilts that have been mass produced.... 5).The more they are washed, the warmer, homier, and more comforting they will become. 6) Handmade quilts often become favorite items for the recipient. 7). They are uniquely beautiful!

  Pricing costs are always a dilemma for me. I check out other sellers on Etsy and eBay, and I keep my prices low compared to many other sellers. Shipping is probably the biggest dilemma for me.I charge $8 for smaller items, and $14.25 for larger items. I use flat rate priority shipping because it is the cheapest way to mail packages, especially if you live west of me. It also provides free insurance and tracking, as well as a guaranteed 2-3 day delivery. I have tried free ship...ping, but end up losing money from it. Etsy and eBay both send me notices about my shipping costs,and advise me to increase my quilt prices and reduce my shipping costs. But, I feel it is dishonest to advertise free shipping if I am going to increase the quilt price because of it. I just wanted to put a note out about this. I don't charge high shipping prices because I want to. I am a small business and must do what I can to keep afloat.
