The owener was absolutely rude and pushy mind you we paid for our 2 hours for my babyshower. We were asked to leave the room where she said we could set up and eat because people wanted to come in and use the bar. Defiantly not happy about my experience what so ever! Also we were made to leave the room because the baby cried Recommend anywhere else to host an event.

1 Star for DeVault Family Vineyard "Festival." 5 Stars to their marketing effort. Talk about lipstick on a pig. All around valiant effort, but unfortunately far short of all of the other "festivals" in the region. $12 to get in on a group discount. Paid to actually drink more than a fraction of a sip. Paid to eat. Best $4 I spent all day was on a Bud Light tapped out of the side wall of a truck. I would have been happy to pay for earplugs NOT to hear the "bands." Hoped to hear Howie Day sing Collide once in person, but became critically disgruntled around 9pm with all the other shortcomings. Food trucks started pulling out around 8pm. "Bounce houses" meant one bouncy installation totally occupied the entire day. Face painting irregularly oscillated between $5 and $10 with no rhyme or reason whatsoever on fees. Hay ride was, literally, MAYBE 1mph and still only lasted 4 minutes as we perused exactly two rows of vines. Kids tried to leap from the hay ride prematurely to terminate their boredom. Big props to "All Things Basementy" tent for the most clever chuckle I had all day. Also, bands opening all evening were akin to praise bands. If that's your thing, then super. It was not what I expected.

Was at their recent Watermelon Wine Festival. While the local band did a marvelous job, and some of the vendors were good, this place gets a 1 star from me. There was a rain shower that came in, and they told people at the concert that the storm "would pass as quickly as it comes in".

Well I figured we could sit under our blanket and be ok, if that was true. Well it started getting heavier and heavier, I looked at my phone and noticed that it wasn't going to go away anytime soon. They advised that shelter was all around and that people could go under the vendor tents, to the barn, and even the "wine tasting" area, which was converted from a barn. Myself, and my sister-in-law both heard this.

Well to end this post and move on, we went to the wine tasting area and were told to go somewhere else because there was a meet-and-greet with some country singer I never heard of. Well, it wasn't like we were all in the way. We told them that the folks on stage said to go here and that "apparently they lied". I had no idea where the barn was because I don't have a layout of their area, and I had a stroller for my daughter when she got tired, so we needed a larger space than a vendor tent. I will never bring my family back here. Such disregard. We were put out in the rain to go find some shelter elsewhere because some meet and greet couldn't have been held there. Also, the pictures they have are the "wine tasting" area inside the converted barn, we were outside of that area, under some cover of the rain.

Not to mention, $20 to get in and get a wine glass to drink, and $15 for non-drinkers, and DD's, with no re-admittance unless you paid again. Just an overall terrible experience.
