I got to take a tour at this track, our tour guide was very good, friendly and made it a good tour. It was kinda of chilly that day, so be prepared for the weather because you go around the grounds in an open air train. They stop at many points and let you visit, they also have a museum at the end. Very well done.
Very cool! They had a holiday light scene, I also got to see the Richard Petty driving experience, and then the go cart races!! It's a happening place. The go carts were around 120 mph! At night it's literally up like the the office July! Racing is awesome!!! I can't wait to see the Rolex24 and the Daytona 500!
We did the behind the scenes tour on a non race day. I'm not a race fan but the tour was fun. I wouldn't want to do it on a hot day, but it was 75*F with a nice breeze, so there open air cart was pleasant. The tour guide was knowledgeable and personable.
The Daytona International Speedway at 1801 W International Speedway Blvd is an amazing complex. It is a gigantic track.
We walked around it just to take the whole thing in and were flabbergasted by the enormity. The place is amazing really.
Everything under the sun is available to purchase. Awesome time
We went on the tour (the all in tour). We were taken to the infield, and walked around, we walked to the winners row platform, was able to see the pit area, but were not able to get near it. There were some cars running and they sounded great. Love to hear the engines run. We were taken up in the stands to see from there, again the cars that were running made it worth while. At the end of the tour we were taken to the little museum they had set up. It was very interesting to see and learn about Daytona beach racing, and how it progressed into the Daytona raceway.
Amazing venue. This was my first visit, just did a tour and shopping. They had cars on the track and it was very intense seeing and hearing these cars run. Great friendly staff.
Loved it!! The tour was awesome and we even had the chance to observe some training laps. Highly recommendable. They offer military discount for tours.
Took the 90 minute tour. One of the best tours entertainment tours I've ever had. Money well spent. Definitely not what I expected yet glad we made with work.
A must go when visiting Florida! Huge place with large tours available. Lots of great history and tons of exhibits. Prices are really good for a place this large and busy. Slightly disappointing that you had to schedule a ride a long. I feel like those should always be available. Also only one Richard Petty item for sale and it was a stock photo of him. How are you not gonna honor one of the hugest faves in NASCAR and racing!? Need more merchandise on him. But got some breathtaking photos and videos!
This place is huge and a must see! Definitely needs to be on every car lovers bucket list. They offer 90 min tours for $25 which takes you behind the scenes and into the action locations (in off times).
The friendliest people. The kindness, professionalism and love of racing. A true Gem to the City of Daytona. A big place with lots of parking lots. Amazing every year!🏁
A fun way to spend your day if you like racing. My husband is a big Nascar fan so he loved it. They're are a lot of opportunities for interesting pictures including cars and statues and the track itself. There is a restaurant inside so you don't have to leave if you get hungry.
Didn't see a race, but went for the gift shop. The gift shop is good sized and has something for everyone. The man that helped us was very nice and found us a 500 program that we were looking for. Been here before and loved it.
I have been to the Daytona Speedway many times over the years for NASCAR events and have always had a great time. This last weekend I attended the Country 500 where Kid Rock was the headlining artist among tons of other talent. I was really impressed with the layout. People were able to get to the food vendors, beverages and restrooms even with a huge crowd. Very well planned and an event I plan on attending again!
This facility is very nice & very large. I feel part of the reason this destination is on top and a place a lot of other tracks strive to be like, is they do frequent updates there. Always keeping the whole place nice clean and putting in the newest and best additions there. Not just the track part. There is so much more to do there than just going to a race.
