The lobby smelled horrible when we walked in. The rooms are definitely dated. Worst of all I saw roaches crawling down the walks as I was sitting in the room. Out before I could blink. Will never stay here again.
Very nice people working. Had no problems they wasn't fast to fix and work out. Very clean!
Staff always friendy clean rooms i stay in alot of hotels i am not pickey like some of those people u read about fly in room little rust in shower grow up stop being so miserable enjoy life good hotel you will like your stay
It's an inexpensive motel. Great interstate access, a lot of nearby places to eat and shop, and quite a few good tourist attractions and historical areas to visit. Clean sheets, cold fridge, just don't expect 5 star accommodations.
Sometimes it's best to just pay a little more. With that being said, 1st night people hanging outside (most look like they live there) checked in on a Wednesday felt like it was the weekend. Next morning ants (a lot) on the desk area. King size bed was hard as a rock, like I slept on two box springs. Told front desk she stated that she will fix the problem. More ants the next morning, call the office to switch room, stated that none was available but three room at the bottom not to far from the room I was in was vacant (could have been reserved), but net morning curtains still open. Last night spoke to a man at the front desk that I was checking out early asked what was wrong, told him the problems with the room then they wanted to give me another room. I was ready to go since I had found out that a woman was killed in a room at the hotel and to find out I was in the room she was killed in (found blood stains on the curtain).
Everything was good until we saw the roaches. And having to get the key card flashed every day. This is annoying especially after working all day and getting to the door with your hands full just to realize that the key don't work.
Definitely not a five star establishment but they don't ask you to pay a five-star rate. It is basic. At a similar establishment in Smithfield, VA, we got an iron with ironing board, blow dryer and access to a washer and dryer for laundry. None of that in Chester. But the staff was pleasant, although not quick with the room cleaning.
Nice beds, maids were great about getting me the vacuum, cuz my cat doesn't like vacuums.my travel trailer was getting repairs, so I had my house plants with.for some reason I was told they couldn't be in the window by house keeping. Manager straightened it out. No pool, website needs an update. Breakfast room nothing like the picture. No bagels, no fruit, just toast and a couple muffins. Oatmeal. Two cereals. For the money they charge, they could get a little more variety. Check your receipt,I was charged a safe fee and tax, which I disputed and they took care of. Nice place. I'd stay here again.
I travel for work, and stay in hotels throughout the year. This is one of the WORST I've ever stayed in! I had to park a long way from my room, the room was small, it wasn't clean, there was trash in the floor, along with some toys apparently left behind by the previous guests. The beds are terrible. Very hard and uncomfortable. I tried to take a shower, but found that the cold water doesn't work! I only had scalding hot water. I was going to stay here for two weeks, but only stayed one night and moved to another hotel. There are too many nice hotels in this area to stay in a dump like this.
The rooms are nice, but could be better, the breakfast is not bad,but is very simple nothing special, could be better too.
The owners are nice, but my car was vandalised on 3 separate nights...
It turns out there cams only cover about 1/4 of the parking area and every time I was parked out of view someone keyed, and dented my car...
Noticed that A lot of the homeless community shacking up in this hotel.
Service was good, close to quite a few restaurants so location is convenient, the only thing i didnt like is the outdated tvs. Other than that, liked it. Will stay again if im in the area.
The beds were comfortable but the room smelled weird. The bathrown door didn't close all the way. The breakfast bar was pretty bare. You get what you pay for.
Needs updating. Pool was green and nasty, carpets on the walkway were sticky and snappy. Room needed painting, bathroom was outdated.
