Nice place to hang out! Great people and very accepting crowd. I am Indian and dark and non Christian, a definite cocktail for disaster in Kansas city bar buy the place was very accepting and non judgemental! Will be back soon.

Daveys is so down to earth and always hosts some of my favorite shows. So thankful that this venue exists in KC, otherwise I'm not sure where some of my favorite bands would be hosted.

Best sound for live music in Kansas City hands down. The drinks are cheap and the owner is lovely. The stage area is perfect for local and touring bands alike.

The cover charge was not what their website posted. The excuse was "It's wrong all the time". Amazingly, the band name, start time, and other information was correct. My suspicion is that they didn't anticipate the crowd, and making change was too much trouble. Easy fix: Just round up! The bar itself wasn't much. The band was jammed between some 1970's era games and broken equipment.

Cool bar for drinks and music. No pretense, nice people and great sound. If you aren't a jerk you won't be treated like one.

Cool venue to play in. Quaint, but good. Sound guy is awesome! Good beer prices!
