  We stopped by after the VanGogh exhibit. I figured that I would end up ordering a plate of chicken and rice, seeing as I'm allergic to wheat but Dave made a fresh gluten free bun for my Juicy Lucy! It was delicious, as well as my black fries and my partner's bacon cheeseburger. Thanks a bunch for the delicious food, excellent service and AWESOME conversation.
  We hope to come back with the rest of our family after church sometime.

  The absolute BEST burger I have ever eaten. Words escaped me after my first bite but I can say that it was an emotional experience. From the moment you walk in you feel as though you have entered a family member's kitchen. Dave is an incredibly inspired chef who pours his heart into his cooking and the pride he takes from seeing his customers happy is clear. I absolutely loved my marsala burger from the moment I smelled it. Highly recommended!

  The best and the most food that I have had in a long time. This place is definitely a hidden gem. Must check this place out! Dave is super nice, and Jessica takes care of you with a smile and an amazing personality! It’s quiet and quaint. Dave cooks everything on his own, all with love. Check it out!!!

  We used to eat at Dave's when he was in Albany and finally took the drive to try his new Schenectady location. Dave treats all customers like family, which is welcoming after a hard day. The food did not taste how we remembered but was still very tasty. With 3 fry options we opted for the old goodie - black fries. They are scary but delicious. A must try. We both ordered his famous Juicy Lucy. One with Chefs Touch. The restaurant itself is cozy. Only 2 tables and a nice diner bar. Well worth the drive or the stop in if in the area. An added bonus is near by charging stations. We look forward to visiting again!

  Dave’s Gourmet Burgers is a great and welcoming spot that I would recommend to anyone who is hungry. The young lady who handles waitressing is friendly and was great at explaining the menu and making sure we had what we needed. Dave is a passionate cook whose heart is in the food 💯💯 the Philly Cheese Steak I had was so delicious it could’ve made me cry 💪💯‼️❤️ Dave remembered my step dad from years ago and I can’t wait to come back when I visit NY again to see the man himself 🙏 it’s an experience bigger than the food and we appreciate you Dave 💯
