Alumni speaking here class of 05. My mom integrated this school in the seventies for one. Best memories here and I wasn't popular by far. Many teacher here love you and help u in and way they can to pass. Mangino, braschler , Mr and Mrs young for example. Not many bad teachers honestly. Great school great city. Gwinnett is the richest county in ga , Dacula is my hometown absolutely love it. GO FALCONS

In 1st semester i didnt pass math because the teacher only had ONE teacjing method 4 everything that i didnt understand. And i kept telling him that. So while i was not passing his class it was "mandatory" to sit in a room and study called TLC, (the learning center). Mrs foy was the yeacher in there and she didnt do anything. The teaching in there was biased, she only went to select kids and badically sat with them the whole class while others were raising theee hands. There arent any computers so i couldnt use the computer for any of my work unless we went to a computer room evwry now and then which STILL nobody came over to help. There ia a tutoring room but if i went in there i would miss my whole lunch. Now since i failed 1at semester i am STILL IN TLC. *BUT* IM RETAKING THE SAME CLASS IN 2ND SEMESTER AND IM PADSING AND STULL HAVE TLC!!!! Ik its the 1st math teachers fault cause i have a new math teacher and i have a 96 and i dont study any more ir less than i did b4 ad she takes time working with everyone in small groups and actually makes sure we understand. This semeater since 4 sone reason im in tlc i still HAVE TO go or ill get lop. Lop is loss of privillage. This is ridiculous for just not gping tomewhere. U spend your whole lunch in a room no conputers ro do your qork u just sit at a desk quietly with no phones etc. Again no help on work if u need it. This semester i had a project that i had to work on and at my lunch i would go in and talk to the library assistant everyday and we would work on my project the WHOLE week for 1 week and 1 day. Even though i spent my whole lunch time in the media center i still got lop. i never ate lunch, disnt talk to anyobe in the library except the librarian and i neded help on this language arts project. So now I have lop for sooo many days and I'm totally DONE with this school. We moving to a new school. Preferably mountain view. Cause my cousins and family friends are OVERLY EXCEEDING AT MOUNTAIN VEIW IN ACCELARADED CLASSES 👌. DON'T SEND YOUR KIDS TO DACULA HIGH!!!!

Great school. I recently graduated and spent 3 years at Dacula High. Like any other school it has its problems but overall a welcoming school. The teachers were wonderful and you could tell they loved doing their job. The school is very big on friendly competition between the classes and big board boosts school spirit. Even with the tragedies that happened the Dacula community came together to support each other. I do not regret the time i spent there and hope that incoming students love it there as much as i did

They tried to expel me because i got into a fight because a senior was bothering me on " Freshmen Friday" and he kept calling me fresh meat. Overall its a good school with good teachers, and students, its just some bullies need to stop doing what they do because alot of football players especially if they do something wrong they propably get one day lop while some get weeks for the same thing.
