This location is hit or miss depending on what you go in for. Service varies largely by department. Some of the employees are friendly and knowledgeable, some are not helpful at all, and some departments are just perpetually absent of anyone even around. Shoes are pretty good, as is the outdoor clothing department. Firearms and camping are usually a crapshoot. Worth stopping by because of the huge two story location and very large selection, but it's probably best to have a good idea of what you need before going.

I highly recommend to stay away from this store when purchasing firearms. The employee I dealt with was obviously in a very bad mood from the get go. When I called to complain, the store manager was actually understanding and listened to my side of the story, however, when I was transferred to get some information I needed, the person who helped me with that was super rude. I HIGHLY recommend going to a more professional, friendly place!

Had to get some new shoes. The guy who helped was pretty knowledgeable about the different soles and helped me pick out a new pair that I'm wearing at work right now. He did a great job and was right. They don't look that great, but they are really comfortable which is what really matters.

worse than kevin durants reputation after he left OKC. I walked apast an employee. i believe her name was emily. when i walked past emily i hear her say "hoe" under her breath. i do not know what i did to deserve this. fire emily because she's rude to innocent customers.

Not happy at all. My husband purchased a set of golf clubs online, choose the Triangle location to pick them up at. We received an email saying that we should receive an email about 2 hours after placing the order that we could come pick it up. Well, still had not received the email as of the next day so we called the Customer Service number that was sent in the email to see what the status was. The guy who answered was very short and said we would have to call the store because they would have more information. Call the store, of course greeted again with disregard and told we need to call Customer Service because they do not see our order. Continuing to go back and forth with the store for an hour on the phone trying to find out where our purchase is to no avail. We called Customer Service back and finally got someone semi willing to help try to figure this out (She is the only reason they received 2 stars). Another 45 minutes on the phone with them and a manager to be told that they don't know what happened. No solution at all was accomplished here besides re-buying them when they already had a hold on our money from the first purchase. NEVER AGAIN will I shop at Dick's. Golf Galaxy on Glenwood Ave is the place to go!

Huge for a Dick's store. Two floors with a ton of inventory and options. Confirmed they had exactly what I was looking for before driving there to purchase. Got what I wanted. Prices are higher than online retailers, but had to spend a gift card I received. Cashier unwillingly signed me up for a scorecard account and card that I'll certainly never use. Was weird to see a large, buff security guard at the door too.

They're redoing the store so things are all over the place right now. But overall a nice store. Staff is usually helpful.

Went to get some gym shoes, looked all over the store before realizing half their shoes are upstairs. I had 5 employees walk by but none offered help in finding the right size or shoe. The employees must actively stay clear of the customers. Store was in shambles. Will not go back to this location

Probably the most annoying experience I have had at a sporting goods store... The sevice was horrible... It took 25 minutes to get help in the kayak section.. The first guy ran off down the escalator! Then the next guy after 20 minutes came up and he said "I don't have knowledge of kayaks let me get someone who does", I respect he was honest but we literally stood there awkwardly waiting for the 3rd employee to come... 10 minutes later he shows up and flooded me with knowledge that was helpful... 1/3 employees were able to help me... I have worked retail for 3 years, this store employement in my view was a complete fail... Was about to just walkout... If you work retail, you should know alittle about everything rather then walking away or repeatedly saying we have to wait for the guy who has knowledge to come... This store gets a 1 star, that is all it deserves. For now on shopping online or going to Gander Mountain. Good day

I've been into this location a few times in recent weeks for golf items, and received outstanding service from Spencer on two separate occasions. He was helpful, knowledgeable and not 'pushy' at all toward my purchases one way or the other (which I appreciated). He took the time to understand my needs and suggest options to meet those needs. I'll definitely seek him out when I go in again to ensure I continue to receive the same level of customer-focused service.
