  I recently worked with D.J.'s to have my deck stained. I was very pleased with the quality of work and with the communication throughout the process. Every person I dealt with was very pleasant. They clearly have the benefit of years of experience in that they are able to anticipate needs and outline the process very professionally from beginning to end so that the customer is kept informed. I'll surely recommend them and contact them again for future work.

  Painters worked hard and did a good job. Completed in a timely manner. Owner and office staff checked up on the progress frequently and was attentive to my questions and requests.

  THE best customer service! We have used D.J.'s for multiple projects over many years and two different homes, and wouldn't go any where else.. They are reliable, prompt, genuinely pleasant. Even kind, when it's some sort of emergency and by definition it's not been your best day. It is a pleasure to work with a local business that cares about their customers and only has my best interests at heart. The owner constantly visits the house. Always honest and upfront from the beginning contact to the end of the project. The crews are professional, polite, and do excellent work. Someone from the office calls every evening to make sure we're still satisfied. The owner's response was immediate when I called for help during the recent flooding. No doubt there are other good contractors out there, but it's rare to still find a genuinely loyal business. When I find one, I stick with them. By the way, I'm sorry some of you had a difficult time booking them. As you can tell by all those stars and reviews like mine, they are usually slammed. Please think about that the next time you need help. You will not be disappointed.

  ADDITIONAL REVIEW - September 2020
  We used DJ's again for an issue we were having with interior water damage coming in from outside. This had been an ongoing issue for years that led to multiple repairs but nothing fixing it. I called Dave because I knew he was a problem solver and would want to get to the root of the issue.
  
  Dave was great at looking at the problem, asking a lot of questions to understand, providing thoughts and suggestions. He provided an early verbal estimate that was way under but the repairs were really involved (removing a chimney, taking off all siding, removing insulation and cleaning out mold, new fireplace insert for gas, new "chimney", new siding, etc.)
  
  I was very pleased with DJ's quality and attention. It took time to get the work done but they were very focused on dodging rain since they would be removing so much of the outside of my house (one side). But when they did start, he was attentive to the work being done.
  
  For challenging issues and complex problems, Dave is good. He's a problem solver. They aren't cheap, but you will get quality - and I needed the water damage to stop!
  
  FIRST REVIEW - 2017
  I started my experience with DJ's with just a quote on painting. That turned into three jobs due to the variety of services they offer. Two were painting (one was baseboard and stair rail) and the other was a sidewalk replacement. Dave was very informed on house issues and discussed options for correcting them - even when the items being discussed weren't one of the projects. We interacted with several in the business - painters, designers, and support staff as well as Dave. All were extremely professional, very helpful, and seemed genuinely concerned about my projects.
  
  The concrete guy for the sidewalk replacement was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He answered questions and provided good info to help me understand.
  
  The painters were very nice and engaged in conversation with us, greeting us and keeping us informed of progress and answering questions as needed.
  
  When paint color questions came up, they were on-the-spot there to take care of them - fixing what needed to be fixed and talking through options. Dave would stop by the work site frequently to ensure things were on track and progressing.
  
  Overall, a great experience. While not the cheapest, the quality and attention to detail were greatly appreciated.
