Cyclops Farms is a new farm starting in coastal Oceanside. Our farmer Luke Girling graduated from The Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems farming program at The University of Santa Cruz in 2013. He has been the farm manager for the farm to table experience at West Steakhouse and Bistro West for the last two years and is now ready to create his own farm. He grew up here in Oceanside Ca, graduated from Oceanside High School in 1999 and now resides in South Oceanside with his wife Frances and their two children Josie and Falcon. He is passionate about growing healthy food!!!We just leased our land January 1, 2015 and are very excited to get it up and running. We are certified organic through CCOF!!! We will be planting a large variety of vegetables, strawberries, flowers and herbs. Look for us at the farmers markets in a few months or at our farm stand on the farm. We will also be providing organic produce to local restaurants. We are very excited for this new venture and are looking forward to growing healthy organic veggies for our community!   EVERYONE- WAKE UP IN OSIDE!! This is a major development!! No it’s not on the beach but come on!! It’s the same damn thing!! Out of town developers telling US what we need! We need support at the city meetings! We will be asking for as many people to show up as possible- show the council that we don’t want this anymore!!
