The story of restoration is pretty amazing. It is great to have a place of beauty in the Midwest that is nationally recognized. Great for biking and hiking. Very close to Cleveland metro. Great weekend trip!

I love taking hikes in many of the available trails in our national park. I also enjoy the music shows that periodically presented in one of the visitor centers. It's a treasure that we must cherish and preserve for the future generations.

We really enjoyed this National Park. It offered great hiking and most importantly, it was very dog friendly. The most beautiful area that we came across was The Ledges. This was just a very short, easy hike from the parking area, but once you were there, it felt like you were in a whole different world. There were other people hiking, but it never once felt crowded and everyone we met was extremely friendly! Great park, would definitely go back!

This is definitely one of the most scenic places in northeast Ohio. I ride my bike on the towpath through here every once in a while and it’s always my favorite part of the ride. It’s also a very good place for photography. There is a ton of wildlife here. The boardwalk here is really cool. I even come to the park every once in a while to do homework because it’s so relaxing.

What an amazingly beautiful, naturally sculpted, strikingly out of the ordinary creation. Hiking can be challenging, or take the easy trail. Definitely worth bringing your camera. I was really, truly, delightfully surprised.
And, BONUS Saw a very large snake, not going to attempt to identify itbut, it was large and black, and awesome!

Pros: Five walk in camp sites are great. Close together but still very private. Dog friendly. Beautiful scenery and hikes. Fire wood provided. Closed road makes for a great

Cons: $28/night no fire rings (community fire pits only and no cooking at them so bring a camp stove). Fire wood provided for community pit was all wet. No bathrooms.

POISON IVY EVERYWHERE

Very nice and would recommend to anyone traveling.

A pretty spot but having visited so many other national parks we were not sure why this one was not just a recreation area. The falls were pretty but with a road behind them they sort of lost their charm. We enjoyed the ledges trail the most. Great if you are in the area but not worth going specifically for.

I mean this is one of the nicest national parks in the country. It doesn't have the draw of Yosemite or the Grand Canyon but it is well taken care of and one of the most visited parks in the country (but you wouldn't know going there). From the scenic railroads to the Meadows or the tow path you can find the right space for you. Land stewardship at it's best.

Great for a hike of any level. You can totally bring your pets and kids along. We go multiple time a year. It is usually busier on weekends but if your looking for a quieter stroll go during the week. Love going here!

This is a beautiful park not drive through/walk through/and even ride a train through! My most recent trip included the Winking Lizard and then a train ride through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It's a really cool experience, beautiful in the summer, and I fully intend on returning to take their train ride in the winter. It's was affordable and kid-friendly.

IT IS A FABULOUS PARK! IT IS ALSO FREE, UNLIKE MANY NATIONAL PARKS. The only complaint I have is there are usually a lot of ticks around, but there is so many hiking and recreation options that you could spend weeks there if you wanted to!

This review is actually in reference to the Cuyahoga Railroad. We have taken two trips with our boys on the RR. We did the day out with Thomas, and the Polar Express. Both were nice events. The Polar express being a truly fun experience for our kids. Day out with Thomas was a little bit boring for them, but still nice. Polar express though is well run, and so much fun. It's definitely something that I would be willing to make the trip from Pittsburgh to Ohio every year to enjoy that experience with my family

I love this park system that surrounds Cleveland. It's a perfect blending of city life, suburban life and nature. I can connect with Mother Earth without driving miles away from the creature comforts of the city. I have visited 2 parks so far and will be visiting the others as time permits. Cuyahoga Valley National Parks should be the template which all cities use to revitalize and expand upon.
