  I hired Mr. Csonka almost five years ago. I DO NOT recommend him at all! His parelegal was great but he lies continuously. He said he filed paperwork and it wasn't filed time after time. He was discussing my case Day of court in front of everyone in the court room as my friend and I sat back and listened. Judge gave continuance because the other side just received paperwork "ten minutes ago on the proposed motion!" So I wasted a vacation day and gas/parking expense for nothing. I show up for the next date. I see my lawyer hasn't shown! I wasted another vacation day, gas, and parking garage. I start calling his office. Paralegal wasn't informed of any changes either. She researches and embarrassed to tell me the judge signed off a few days before and court was canceled. The judge granted my wishes. The lawyer never told me to stop making payments to the trustee. He tells me the money won't go anywhere that once the file is gone through I will receive a full refund. Which was another lie! He took $500.00. When I emailed and called he never responded. Finally I get him on the phone and he said oh it's a "no look" fee! He has had ample notices by phone and email. Now I am seeking a civil case and reporting to the bar association for investigation. To top it off when I hired him he worked for another company. At some point he started his own business in the same building/same office space BUT never disclosed his new business or sent out any documents stating their was a change. I truly believe he has responsibilies to disclose business affiliation as well as to be honest. File paperwork on time and when you said you did it should be done! Clients should not have to call day after day to get the job done.

  When I met with Mr. Csonka at his York office, I was confused, concerned, nervous and unsure about the path I needed to take to remedy my issues. Within a few minutes, Mr. Csonka offered guidance in addressing my issues and lifted a lot of pressure off of me. His knowledge and professionalism were spot on, and I would not hesitate to use or recommend him in the future.

  Although Michael Csonka advertises "Free Consultation", don't believe it. There is no truth-in-advertising in his office. The consult is only free if you retain Michael Csonka. What a colossal waste of my time to deal with an attorney who is not on the up and up.
