Crossfit Maximum Dosage was founded by trainers and individuals who truly have a passion for the sport of Crossfit.
So many people may ask, "What exactly is Crossfit? And how is it any different from going to any type of traditional gym?"
Crossfit is simply defined as "constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensities."
Variance-
Everytime you step into our box you will be doing something different. The only exception would be when we do our "Benchmark WODS." These WODs will measure your progress as you gain strength, speed, power, etc.
Functional Movements-
These would be movements that are useful to you in life. A good example of something that serves use to you is a squat. You need a squat each and every time you sit down or stand up.
High Intensity-
We move weights and/or our bodies as far as possible in the least amount of time possible. When the clock counts down, people get moving. The actual workout time you will gather that nobody talks. Everyone in the box is pushing his/herself as hard as possible to get the results that they are looking for. Nothing worth having in life comes easy.
More importantly, CrossFit, with all the modifications that can be made to the workouts, allows anyone of any age, size, or fitness level to push their body to the limit, do things they never thought they could do, and get a great workout every single time.
At our box, our goal is to not only build athletes and help individuals change their lives; but at the same time form a community of friends all working towards a healthier lifestyle!

Thrusters are on the menu today! Heres your #TuesdayTip to get you through the WOD ππΌ . When youβre performing any movement in the front rack position, you want to focus on creating a βshelfβ. To do so, youβll want to keep your elbows high and let the barbell roll back on to your fingers so the barbell is able to rest on your shoulders. This will put less pressure/fatigue on other muscles, you will perform more efficient reps, and finish faster!
Whoβs ready for another go of 19.2? π² . T2B is the make or break piece in this workout. If you had trouble making it under the 8 min cap, weβd recommend fine tuning your technique to be more efficient ππΌ
