  I've been here 5 or 6 times always for lunch. Usually like the food. The choice of seafood here at Crawfish Shack is great.
  
  Pretty much everything else is subpar. It's a total dump. My shoes stuck to the floor on 2 of 5 visits. The pic on Google of white tablecloths isn't in this restaurant. Although they tout freshness, a LOT of the seafood including fish is frozen. Wait times are an issue. Often 10+ minutes. Drink arrangements are questionable.
  
  I do like the shrimp PoBoy, crawfish, and seafood platter. Also, they sell seafood to take home and prepare.

  I ordered 10 fried jumbo shrimp with broccoli and potato salad. I received 11 boiled shrimp with red potatoes and corn on the cob. My fiance's sides were incorrect as well! On the plus side, even though both our orders were completely wrong, the food was great.
  
  Some advice guys- wait till AFTER you clock out to get high.

  Yesterday I ordered from this establishment through Grubhub, I ordered meal 3 which is swai fish and 2 sides, I also ordered an extra side of onion rings. I received my food in a timely manner but when I opened the box it was tilapia instead of swai, all of the sides were correct even the extra order of onion rings. I wasn't too upset because everyone makes mistakes. I contacted Grubhub whom in return contacted the restaurant. Here's where the issue comes in, the rep told me that they couldn't give me a refund because the restaurant advised there's no way they made a mistake so basically the restaurant said I was lying. I hung up and contacted the restaurant and spoke to a manager named Hugh. I explained the issue to him and told him I didn't appreciate being called a liar. He proceeds to tell me they have a very controlled environment with quality inspection and it must've been Grubhub's mistake even though all sides were correct even the extra order of onion rings so basically still not owning up to the mistake. I told him I could send a pic or better yet my job isn't too far from the place so I could bring it up there. I couldn't believe the audacity of this "manager" to call me a liar when I'm offering up proof. After being backed into a corner he finally decided to contact Grubhub and give me a refund. Needless to say I will never order from this place again. Customer service is non existent and Hugh could use a lot of classes.

  I visited today -- for the first time -- to pick up food for dinner at my Mother's. The staff was very helpful and the food delicious. Highly recommended.

  Very casual atmosphere. Order at the counter and sit down at a bench. The boiled crawfish and large shrimp are excellent. The fried jumbo shrimp are decent, but they're not as flavorful as when they are boiled with the seasoning. The cajun fries and the sweetpotato waffle fries are also good.

  I honestly love this place but the service was awful, like the worst I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Ordered sweet tea, none available...20 min later I'm finished eating and still no sweet tea (saw it finish brewing when I was ordering) said something about it and was ignored. Asked for silverware and was ignored by 3 staff members. Ended up putting my cup on the service counter and took a bottled drink since I paid for a beverage. Hope its better next time.

  Good Cajun seafood place. Little pricey for lunch, and can get crowded after 12. Arrive early by 11 or 11:30 to get quick service.

  First time there has a shrimp po boy sandwich and it was wonderful and the little sauce that comes with it taste amazing. Friendly staff clean facility. I liked it and will be going back

  I am not what had happened to this place and used to be a great place to pick up decent Cajun crawfish boil. The place is a little cleaned up since the last time we were here, it was crowded and filthy last time.
  
  We were #44 and #39 just got their food at 6:05. 30 minutes later, we finally got our food and the place is not even crowded, less than 20 people here. We finally got our food and expecting it to be piping hot since it took more than 30 minutes but it was just luke warm and the side items are close to being cold. 30 minutes for 2 fried fish plates and less than 10 tables, how would they be able to handle a large crowd.
  
  One other table about two numbers behind us asked where their food is and the lady manager or owner was snappy with comments that other orders are ahead of his.
  
  It is kind of disappointing and used to love this place. Just like anything else, one goes down and another one rises. Time to find another place.

  Had been meaning to try this place for a while since it's been on a few "best of" lists. It was okay but not great. We ordered the ridiculous ~$100 bucket of stuff and were both impressed and disappointed. The crawfish themselves were some of the best I've ever had (but extremely spicy). I don't always like crawfish but these were good. That said, the description of the bucket said it had Blue Crab in it and those were nowhere to be found so I felt a bit ripped off (but I didn't complain so I don't know what the deal is). Also, the floors were sticky and the place just overall felt a bit dirty, but that's not unusual on Buford Highway so I'm not knocking them for that, just an FYI in case someone was expecting something cleaner.

  They have the best crawfish on Buford Hwy. Their crawfish is very flavorful. I have come here more than once and they NEVER disappoint! This time was the first time I tried the mac and cheese poppers and they were very good. They have little pieces of jalapenos in them but it is not spicy; the jalapenos give the poppers a nice kick of flavor. I would definitely suggest getting the mac and cheese poppers. Overall, the crawfish shack is a great place to eat. They have good food AND service, which is hard to find both in one place these days.

  (Warning: Central Floridians here for the weekend) I love it when I step into a place and MY NOSE GETS WHIPLASH FROM ALL THE DELICIOUS SCENTS. Strong Cajun spices filled the air. This place is VERY UNASSUMING AND SIMPLE—you place your ORDER AT THE COUNTER then find a place to sit in the picnic-table style seating inside. The menu is relatively simple. CAJUN SEAFOOD FRIED, GRILLED, OR STEWED. Starches and veggies served that same way. But oh my gosh IT’S DELICIOUS. Our dishes arrived extremely staggered so that the first to receive their food were almost finished by the time the last person received theirs.
