    Some of the interactive demos are broken but overall the museum is great. Museum staffer George S. is a treasure- ask him anything! "Current Night Sky" in the planetarium is great for kids.

    This museum spans the entire history of aviation with tons of sights and interactive exhibits sure to please adults and children. Don't forget about the IMAX theater that is here.

    Down the road from the Coliseum see exhibits from hot air balloons to LI’s first flight in 1909, to planes built by Grumman, and learn about about LI's significant role in the evolution of flight.

    In the Space Exploration Exhibit you will find the Grumman Lunar Module LM-13. This lander was built for the 1973 Apollo 18 mission to the Copernicus Crater. Ultimately, that mission was canceled.
