James Valente was an absolute life-saver. When a local non-profit that I work at was in dire trouble, James worked behind the scenes, pro bono, on behalf of the non-profit's staff. He worked long hours and late nights and was instrumental in bringing the crisis to a satisfactory conclusion--all because he believed our organization was worth fighting for. I cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism, knowledge, and care for his clients.

For traffic tickets, I would highly recommend James Valente! I live in Virginia (reciprocity state) and was vacationing with my wife in Vermont. In early July, I received a ridiculous ticket from a Vermont state trooper. The ticket was $250 with 5 points!!! If it was just the fine, I would have simply paid it, but the points motivated me to hire a local traffic attorney. Through a recommendation, hired attorney James Valente who immediately went to work. He asked me the pertinent questions and counseled me on how best to proceed. The day before the hearing he called me to go over the details of the case and prepared me to respond to potential questions from the judge. But luckily, it never came to that because the judge dismissed the case!! I couldn't have received a better attorney or a better outcome!! Again, would highly recommend!

All stay at home mom STEAR CLEAR of James Valente and Sharon Gentry.
They charged me 50k which they r now SUING ME FOR. I got NOTHING from the divorce and my children which I raised and they acknowledged I was primary caregiver for of 10 years r emotional abused at my exes.
And James recommends I give the ex the house to make it easier and now I'm broke and homeless without my children!!
They were unprofessional from the start! Mistake after mistake! I had 56% custody and Judge Carrol forced signed $80 per child with pressure from Valente. Kids n i were f'd. They fixed it now after trauma but no apology and damage to kids DONE!
Anyone interested in seeing the shotty work of an over inflated and half-assed lawyer work I have a website with transcripts, recordings, and documents as proof. 👍response / report this review -

The whole office worked diligently and hard for the best possible outcome. They didn't make me feel like just another client, they truly cared about me, and had my best interest at heart. They are all downright wonderful people, and a phenomenal and fierce legal team.

Many thanks to James Valente. He handled our case with grace, competence and needed humor. As CEO of the Vermont Achievement Center I needed someone who would advocate for our kids and program and speak with the caring, kids first, voice that would truly represent how we feel. he did just that. James voiced our concerns and our cares he got us the result we wanted and was a pleasure to work. Thanks James
