By far the NUMBER ONE breakfast place in Newport. It is worth the wait not only do they have breakfast which is delicious they all so serve lunch which is just as delicious. Yes there is always a wait, due to the fact the restuarant is small but trust me the wait is worth it. When visiting Newport make sure you add the Corner Cafe to your to do list of restaurants to visit you will not be disappointed.

Quaint little restaurant in Newport, the food is excellent, with large portions, family friendly, reasonable pricing, with good service. Only downside is very small, so not much seating, but they had outside heaters for people waiting for seats as you can't really wait inside except for a few at a time.

1st time at this place very impressed!! Seemed to be the busiest place around but you hardly notice the wait, they moved people in and out quickly all while being friendly and attentive, food was terrific and served quickly. Will definitely come back.

The breakfast at the corner cafe is absolutely delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, the eggs are phenomenal, and the pancakes are to die for! Although there is usually a line outside of the cafe (because the food is so popular), the wait is totally worth it, and the waiters and waitresses are super friendly. The whole place has a homely vibe. Great place for families, friends, or just you.

Fantastic breakfast spot. Dining room is on the small side so it can be difficult to get in. Weekends are almost impossible. A creative menu is served here featuring some Continental Classics as well as some fantastic Irish options. Service is is fantastic with a very friendly staff. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Newport and get lucky enough to get in especially on weekends.

Couldn’t say enough good things about this place. Food was amazing and service was great. Everyone really friendly. You won’t find better prices anywhere. If you’re going on the weekend, get there early or expect a little wait (worth it!)

I love everything about this place. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, the food is delicious. The atmosphere is really comfy and they're always playing great music. The wait can be long at times, but it's totally worth it. They can usually squeeze in one or two people fairly quickly though.

This place is amazing and worth the wait. ( If there is one). The best breakfast in Newport by far. The omelettes were to die for as were the homefries. I'd love to know what their secret is. The staff was so nice and the owner was very warm and efficient. I will be going back time and time again.

You know a place has to be good if there is always a wait. And it was worth the short wait. Food was fantastic. Service was great. Cool vibe. We will be back again on our next trip to Newport.

The service is great and the variety of Breakfast offerings is outstanding. Creative seasonal specials are post on chalkboards along with coffee drinks. The food portions are plentiful and the price is a little on the high side.

I took my mother out for breakfast they had a lot of great omlett choices and just a lot of great options in general. The prices were great the service is great. Get there early it gets busy fast. I haven't tried lunch or dinner there yet but I assume it's good.

I have only tried the breakfast, but everything I tried was outstanding. The cowboy is a must. The favors are balanced so well. I also tried the French toast with apples, raisins, and cheese (I can't remember the name of the dish) but the best French toast I have ever tasted.

This place never disappoints! The Portuguese stew that often appears on the specials menu is not to be missed. The Lighthouse pizza is also a great dish to share among friends. BYOB is great. Perfect for a date night Thurs-Sat

Delicious breakfast at reasonable prices. Coffee was huge and very good. Service was great. I really enjoyed my meal. There was a wait so expect the same if you're coming at a busy time but it's worth it.

Consistently poor service over three visits. Most recent was being sat at a table in the middle of the rest w a very large man behind me. I asked to be moved but was told that the other three empty tables are being saved. Then five minutes later being told to move so that people can walk behind us - exactly why I asked five minutes earlier. Other bad experiences include the poor management of the wait list and during very busy times, a greeter frequently not being present leading to confusion about wait times and wait list. Food is good but better off walking up the street to The Hungry Monkey. Much better service and overall experience.
