  Ate there on Oct 28th 2017,another raw hamburger after ordering it well done. We have been spending money there since they re-opened and the portions have been shrinking ever since. This is the second time my wife ordered a well done hamburger only to receive one that was pink on inside. We're done eating there, lots of other options in the area.

  Nice dining room separate from bar. Nicely decorated for Fall.

  In the off season this is the best bet going and it's not bad in the "on" season either. Friendly staff and good food and prices , a little fancier looking inside than a lot of places in the area also ..... they have table cloths!!!! .. :) . but don't get all dressed up

  Awesome folks, awesome food, and a place to rest your head. First choice when visiting Cook Forest area. Thanks for the huge fish sammich and ice cold brew, made my day!

  Had dinner Friday night. We ordered the fish dinner and a chicken salad. Food was great and the portions are big. Our server was also the bartender and she is always great. Would go back for any meal. The owner is always around and very friendly.

  Cook Forest Country Inn was recommended has a good place for breakfast. Since there's nothing but Mom and Pop restaurants for miles, we didn't have much of a choice. However, the buffet-style breakfast was delicious. The bacon was crispy, the blueberry pancakes were fresh, and the service was very friendly. My only complaint was the price. For two people, my meal was $20. It wasn't that much for a meal, but I really didn't want to spend that much on breakfast.
  
  Also, the buffet was the only option for breakfast.

  The service was terriable. The waitress was terriable. We waited over an hour for our food. They were not busy. The food was not that great. There was an older gentleman that came out and gave the kids that I was sitting with toys that was super cool. I would probaly not come back.
