April is occupational therapy month. Occupational therapy practitioners enable people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health, and prevent—or live better with—injury, illness, or disability. At CCH, our team of occupational therapists provide therapeutic intervention to the people of Cook County in the following areas: developmental pediatrics, hand therapy, outpatient therapy services (neurological, musculoskeletal rehab), and inpatient care. THANK YOU to all our OT staff!

March is Women's History Month and we would like to honor Ruth Rothstein, whose dedication and commitment spearheaded the original campaign to build the Ruth M. Rothstein CORE Center. She was a lifelong believer that quality health care is a right for all residents. Countless individuals have benefited and will benefit from Ruth’s advocacy and leadership.
