Worst hospital you can ever go to seriously!! You could be dying and you will still be in the waiting room(being empty) and still you will be waiting. I love the town of coldwater if i can bring something from Pennsylvania to Coldwater is there Hospitals they are a 10 star hospitals that sure one thing I miss of Pennsylvania. Coldwater hospital -10
Waited in the waiting room for 3 hours when I dislocated my knee cap and fractured my ankle. I was charged for a bed and a doctor seeing me. I was rolled into a room and left in my wheelchair. I never saw a bed or a doctor. They misdiagnosed my ankle as a sprain without looking at it. It gave out a year later. Turns out I fractured it and had been walking around on a sprained ankle.
My husband cut his finger nearly to the bone. They stitched, messed up the stitches, then charged him for $300. Thanks.
they were extremely rude. i took my son there Friday he had broke his leg and they had accused me of child abuse . also after finding out my son broke his leg i was very upset and crying and the receptions was asking for the co pay AND she wouldn't leave me alone until i gave her money ! i felt they judged me on my looks as a mother. i was waiting for a xray for almost 2 hours !!!!. they are horrible. hope i never have to go there AGAIN!
Randy, my wife and I found the staff friendly and helpful. Doctors were knowledgeable. Nursing staff was outstanding. Alyse, Karaleen, Mashion, and Kate were were professional, prompt, and efficient.
I'm not sure we'll be going back to this hospital unless we have no other choice. I am by no means a medical expert, but it seems extremely unusual to me to have a patient coughing up brown chunks, complaining of coughing syncope, and clearly struggling to breathe due to chest congestion and two members of staff note decreased breath sounds but no one thinks to order an x-ray of the lungs? Just to be sure there's no pneumonia or anything else amiss? No one thinks, "gosh, maybe I should call respiratory and get this guy a breathing treatment to start with"?
The computers were "down" while we were there. A swab was taken to test for strep and another to test for flu. ER staff couldn't get the results because of the computer issue so what do they do? Discharge him with scripts for zithro, cough syrup with codeine, tessalon perles and an inhaler. And a "temporary" diagnosis of acute bronchitis.
I had to call to find out both tests were negative. No one bothered to explain that they don't call if the results are negative. No one bothered to treat the severe sore throat he'd complained made swallowing agony. No one bothered to even look at his sinuses/face after he explained he'd felt intense pain in his right sinus while sitting in the waiting room.
I've been in various ERs for bronchitis and pneumonia more times than I can count. NEVER have I gone in with difficulty breathing, decreased breath sounds and NOT been sent to x-ray and given a breathing treatment by an RT before being discharged.
About the only positive thing I can say about this visit is that, for the most part, the staff was quite friendly. But you know, I care less about friendly staff than I do about competent medical care, and I don't feel my husband got the latter. If I can avoid it, we won't be returning to this hospital for anything.
Will die before I return to this hospital!
Amazing experience today in the ER with a friend of mine she had a horrible kidney infection and she had Wesan PA and ER RN Aaron they are amazing people made the visit fun and easy to handle Thank you so much
My daughter was treated at CHC ER - had wonderful service and staff was very friendly. I have had several surgeries at CHC and would not hesitate to have future treatments at CHC if necessary I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful.
I was sent there on 11/17/16 by my dentist and treated so poorly by the P.A. I will never go there again or take my family there! I was told to go to the ER to get antibiotics via IV because I had an infection so bad in my haw that it was spreading to my brain and the PA called me a liar and said my dentist did not say that. Then after I told her I had been on an antibiotic for 4 days she said if I give you an antibiotic are you gonna take it like you are suppose to. I said my dentist wants me to have an antibiotic through the IV bc I have been taking my antibiotic properly for 4 days and it isn't strong enough. She said I will do this just once. I was so upset that I left and went to a better hospital where I wasn't treated so poorly.
Had surgery as well as out patient procedures there, get lab work and imaging services there and was and continue to be, highly satisfied and impressed by staff, doctors and service. Apparently some had bad experiences, but compare it to Borgess, which I highly trust and respect as a health care facility!!
