While on our cruise, we were taken there by friends that frequent this restaurant. We were delighted. Food was fantastic, as well as the happy hour specials and the service! Can't wait to go back when we aren't pressed for time.

Absolutely amazing experience. My husband and I searched restaurant after restaurant trying to decide where to celebrate my birthday dinner. So happy that we chose Commodore Waterfront. The food was fabulous. The service was excellent. The ambience was exactly what we were hoping to find for our dinner for two.

Service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We ate in the fine dining section of the restaurant, which is upstairs. The food was delicious. The view was nice, but a little obstructed by the wood. See photo. We made a reservation, but it really wasn't necessary for the Sunday night that we went. The downstairs casual food section was busy, but upstairs only had a few other parties besides us. Even though it's fine dining upstairs, shorts and a t-shirt is fine.

We would recommend coming here to others.

My husband ordered steak and I ordered sirloin tips and shrimp scampi. The good was delicious and we were seated on a balcony on our own private section outside. It was really nice.

If you want a salad, it will be an extra charge ($8-$10). The bread was delicious and the vegetables were seasoned well.

Plenty of fun places around the wharf but this is not one of them. Strange upscale environment with 50's and 60's songs playing which did not fit. The place had only a few tables full the entire time but when calling for a reservation we were told that they could not take us until late? The Mahi Mahi was point blank slimy gross! Prime rib was more than half fat! The bathrooms were disgusting comparable to a rundown gas station. Portions were fairly good but overall Not worth the high prices.

They handled our wedding reception in a most excellent manner. Creating a custom menu, and the food was so good my wife and I ate there the next night. The experience could not have been better.

Took my son for surf and turf. I ordered a Manhattan. It had two flies in it. I called over the waiter. I expected an apology and let me make it right. Instead, he blamed it on me for ordering a sweet drink. What an arrogant jerk. I won't be back.

I hate that I can't give this place 5 stars. However, apparently I will just be repeating most other reviews I am reading; great food, great atmosphere, lousy staff. I would call the Commodore a must visit. Just prepare yourself to save a couple bucks on the tip. Maybe get that extra drink instead.
