Clean yet dated room. Bathroom fan malfunctioned. Great hot breakfast bar. Great location for my needs. I left my shaving cream at home, front desk was able to provide small shaving cream. They charge a daily $15.00 resort fee in addition to your room costs. Valet parking only.

Carmen at the front desk is a true gem. We were given a raw deal with the hotel and she delivered the news with kindness and understanding. She did her due diligence to help us. Management should not have left it to her to deliver that news, especially 2 hours before check-in. The room we were given was a steep downgrade compared to the suite we booked. Location is fine, about 10 minutes from most things. Limited parking on site.

This was a pleasant surprise! I was looking to stay downtown, but prices were at least double of this hotel.
All personnel was very kind, helpful and friendly. The room was better than expected, it smelled fresh enough, it was clean, quiet and comfortable.
We had our bicycles with us and it only took us 10 minutes to the heart of Charleston for dinner, drinks and dancing.
Breakfast was a very hearty and complete American breakfast, the potatoes and bell peppers were delicious! Last but not least, a shout out to Amir who gave us the best parking service ever. Thanks a lot, we’ll be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is close enough to downtown and plus has a free shuttle stop right outside the hotel that is about 10 stops from the hotel to downtown and 5 stops from downtown to the hotel. The pool on the third floor looked nice but we didn’t get time to swim. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and functional. The ac worked well and it was better once we got it to have a constant fan for sleeping. It was relatively quiet especially at night. The area was just slightly off the beaten path war a hospital and there is a Publix really close walking distance nearby and a couple of restaurants too. There is always regular and decaf coffee in the lounge, sweet iced tea, and sometimes water with limes. The breakfast is the usual fixings as you would expect, the eggs and potatoes I tried were actually pretty tasty. For an affordable and ~comfortable~ stay we would definitely choose this place again!

My partner booked this hotel for us for our anniversary as it was close to downtown. Initial impression was a slightly outdated hotel , however that can be overlooked if everything is at least clean . That was absolutely not the case. Upon arrival I began doing my usual inspection of the furniture and sheets to ensure there is no evidence of bedbugs, dirt , etc. Upon pulling back the blankets we discovered feces smeared on the blanket , bed , and all over the carpet .The bed had been made back without removing any blankets or sheets for washing . Not only is this revolting it presents a serious health and safety hazard. The ladies working the front desk were pleasant and helpful and moved us into a different room where they also delivered fresh sheets, per my request. While this room was at least feces free - the hair dryer was broke and falling off the wall , and the water pressure for the shower was non-existent . Would highly recommend the owner explore new cleaning policies and standards as directly violating the trust your guests place in you when they book a room at your establishment when you cut corners as simple as changing the sheets, is not a good look.
